"I got the starter package as my first ever AEG. I did a ton of research beforehand and believe this is the best bang for buck option for those looking to get into airsoft. Great out of the box performance. Hops up to .32's, but I'd recommend starting out with .3's for outdoor play.

In terms of upgradeability, the gearbox is fine but not great. Very tight fit for 8mm FLT bushings and SHS gears. Couldn't put a single 0.1mm shim on my spur gear with the stock ball bearings installed. I'd probably spend the $40-60 on a APS or Lonex gearbox if swapping out most of the internals.

Absolutely great for beginners. All I would do is get a solid aftermarket bucking/nub combo and slap a red dot on it.
