Hugo SCHMEISSER was born in Germany on September 24, 1884. He can be considered as the John Browning of Germany. In order to stop the heavy losses resulting from trench warfare (1915-1917), the German High Command decided to design an easy to handle weapon capable of rapid fire. In 1918, Hugo SCHMEISSER and the Bergmann company released the MP18/1, of which some 35 000 units were produced. Despite the German capitulation and the restrictions imposed by Treaty of Versailles, Hugo SCHMEISSER secretly developed the MP28, MP34 and MP36. This work led to the famous MP40. He was also responsible for the Sturmgewehr 44. He was forcibly recruited by the Red Army from 1946 to 1952 to participate in the development of arms.

"First, Evike has a store in Taxes, GREAT to all customers all over USA. It help to cut down the shipping time.
This MP40 is out of my expedition. The circle nut at the dorsal side right after the mag allows the barrel assembly and the action cover to be pull out, the battery compartment is at the rear part of the action cover, so is easy to load battery.
The weight is close to a real gun, and the rest is good.
Evike good move, when the business tax and property tax agreed. The CENTRAL method did help the business running smoothly.

"Opened it up put in a battery wouldn't fire, returned it , got money back, gun looked cheap, slightly smaller than the real one, not that cool overall i must say. It does use the same magazines as the AGM MP40 and Sten gun. So it's got that going for it.
