"Nice replica. I bought it secondhand.
I did notice over time the magazine release wears out because its polymer contacting with aluminum mags. It might be wiser to get WE mags as they're made of polymer so it won't wear down as quickly. I tried using actual Glock parts and it kinda worked, so it may be worth asking Umarex for spare parts if you ask really nicely.
Otherwise it does what it does. However I noticed the hop all the way up doesn't spin 0.32g at all, so keep that in mind if you want primarily use heavier ammo then you should upgrade the bucking or enjoy that 50-60 ft engagement distance.
With said settings with 0.32g even on CO2 I was only shooting like 0.8J. I use the OEM VFC/Spartan magazines. I am planning to try other brands that say they are compatible. When that happens, I'll write a review specific to the magazine.
"I've been collecting and buying Airsoft/Airguns since 2015. I've had quite a few guns in my collection that I've used, and some that I don't use that often, that I just put out on my wall hall of fame for show in my shop. In total, 40 guns in all. From SMG's, Sniper rifles, and pistols, all are Green Gas , or Co2 gas blowback guns. I have no AEG's in my collection, nor do I own any, simply because I'm not a fan of an electric gun. If your like me, Being a huge fan of Gas BB guns, You know that it can or may come with a cost. They are much more finicky, and have probably more problems that AEG's, because of the strong , gas blowback action & moving parts, not to mention, that the manufacturing of these guns where internal parts should be steel, are not. Their either plastic, or pewter, cheap cheap metals forged in the cheapest way, this causes problems....none the less, they are much more realistic in feel, and much more fun in a big way.
Anyways, I purchased the Umarex Glock 17 gen 3 Airsoft gun for $170 bucks, which I thought was kind of pricey, however after using this pistol, My money was well spent. I have not had one single problem with this gun in 6 months of owning it. Glocks have a tendency to have slide issues. They tend to jam, or double feed, or the slide after heavy game use, gets sticky and starts to malfunction by not completing a full cycle in its blowback action, even after a good lube. I've had almost all of my Glocks do this. But....the 17 gen 3, unlike its Airgun .177 predecessor, is quiet, and doesn't have that tin like rattle when you shake it. Its slide is perfectly smooth. It has that great realistic sound when you pull the slide back to cock the gun. It fires at a beautiful rate, as fast as you can pull that trigger, it'll shoot, with ease, with no jamming, and with no problems whatsoever. This has been hands down the best Glock yet Umarex has put out. The "smooth" slide has got to be the highlight of this gun. It has a great "hopup" and its accuracy is absolutely amazing. This has got to be the best, along with the gen 4,, the very best in Glocks manufacturing of these pistols. Both the Airsoft and Airgun Glocks are made with superiority.
If you looking for a Glock, or a pistol for that matter, FOR gaming, or backyard plinking, (sorry, this gun cant be used for pest control) then this is the one for you, with its reliability, and outstanding gas efficiency, THIS IS THE ONE!. I even bought the 50 round magazine for this gun, and it shoots 100 shots easy, before I need a refill. 5 stars for the Umarex Glock 17 gen 3 Airsoft gun!!!!!!
