The SV-98 is the currently issued sniper rifle used by the Russian Federation's ground forces and Spetsnaz units. Built out of a need for a new precision sniper rifle platform, the SV-98 is a militarized version of the Izhmash Record, a full bore target shooting rifle. With an adjustable cheek rest and shoulder pad, you can configure your rifle to your natural shooting position.

"This is a very satisfying purchase for me. As for the external, the wooden stock is beautifully crafted, the receiver is CNC machined, and the bi-pods & carry handle that come with the deluxe edition are very solid. Internal-wise, this gun is fully Striker system compatible, meaning that you can have a high volume of air when the bolt-pull is short and relatively easy. The gun is very upgradable. The only downside is probably the absurdly expensive magazines. However, it can hold 50 rounds, so maybe you don't need more than two mags. After all, this is a sniper rifle, and you shouldn't expect to shoot more than 100 shots per game.
