"Love this outer barrel, purchased it for a Fallout: New Vegas Assault Carbine AEG build I'm working on. IT fit with zero problems at all. The ONLY con is that this barrel is threaded 14mm positive, so that can limit your selection of muzzle devices if you don't want to just put a birdcage on and call it a day. Well worth the money, and I will be purchasing a second one for my Western Arms GBBR.

"This is a mid-length gas system type barrel. It is high quality, holds the inner barrel in without wobble, and mates up with the receiver very well. It does what it is supposed to, and is 16" long, so it can be used to match most civilian real steel carbines. However, keep in mind that this will bring the front sight post forward if you are running a carbine length handguard, and will require a mid-length handguard if you want to keep the front sight post. It may be possible to refit the front sight post onto the barrel where it would need to be for a carbine length, but many may not have the tools or knowledge required to reshape the barrel. It is a good product, but minus one start for being a mid-length that reduces the compatibility with various common handguards and rails.

"This barrel fits on my we m4 gbbr perfectly but its too thick to fit the iron sight or handguard cap so keep that in mind.
