"I'm giving this product five stars based solely on it's performance.

I purchased this for the intended ARES G36cv.

The product does exactly what it is supposed to do. It fit the frame of the gun perfectly, and is actually less of a hassle to pop in and out of the twist lock than the original plastic because of how sturdy it is.
The components from the previous hop-up all fit on the gun. The original hop-up adjustment dial is a bit snug until it's slid on properly(compared to the JG dial g36 hop-up you can buy which is a bit loose feeling).

After a quick install I used the hop up for a about 6 in game hours. There was even a bit of rain and there were no issues.



My only complaint would be that it does not come with it's own set of components beyond the base.
Seeing as that is not related to actual performance it will not effect the rating I've given it.
