Designed to showcase their new, in house designed handguard, the Phantom Extremis by APS is the ideal Airsoft AEG for any Airsoft sport, from weekend skirmishes to competitive shooting, the Phantom Extremis is designed to perform in any environment. Loaded with other small touches such as ambidextrous fire controls, enhanced charging handles and machined lightening cuts, the Phantom Extremis takes on the look of some of today's most popular competitive shooting rifles.

When APS set out to develop the Silver Edge gearbox, they wanted to bring to market an ultra-smooth, low amperage draw, ultra-reliable system with huge upgrade potential. The newest iteration of the Silver Edge gearbox named eSilver Edge takes everything that made the original great and improves upon it.
The newly developed advanced S.D.U. (Super Dynamic Unit) chipset monitors the amperage draw from shot to shot and will cut power to the gearbox if the current spikes too high before damage can be done to your gun.
To improve trigger performance, the eSilver Edge gearbox features a micro switch trigger which works together with the S.D.U.chipset for near instantaneous trigger response (as fast as 0.02 seconds). When combined with a short stroked trigger, users can achieve an incredible semi-auto rate of fire.
Additional to the reinforced internal parts, the gearbox shell itself has been greatly reinforced to withstand the stress of up to an M190 spring. Great thought and detail has gone into this gearbox to make it more durable, more efficient, and at the same time remain compatible with the great majority of Tokyo Marui Spec upgrade parts.

"As of right now I’ve shot around 8000 bbs through it and I am very impressed with it. Does great with a 7.4v lipo. Everything on it is metal besides the mag and that brings me to my only issue is the mag, it will sometimes release all the tension on the spring. Could be user error, but it is compatible with other m4 mags. With .20g bbs I can shoot about 150 feet through cardboard so it packs a punch. I do recommend.

"Just got the gun in the mail, took about 6 days to get here; pretty good if you ask me. The gun is full metal like the discrption says. The gun was pakaged nicely not a scratch on it when it got to my house. out of the box it was ready to go. The gun feels tight and rugged like a drop wont affect it in anyway. ive aleready shot about 1000bbs through it without a hickup. The gear box sounds great, no sounds that shouldnt be made. The paint feels nice on it and won't scrach that easily. The gun seems to not have EBB (Electric blow back), the discription seems a little unclear on that knowing the mk5 and 3 have EBB. Shoots great, hits hard and shoots them far. APS seems like that have steped up there game here. Hopfully she treats me well, And you to if you buy it. I would recommend.
