Unfortunately, both pistols have been a major letdown. They jam constantly — slides don’t cycle properly, magazines misfeed, and overall reliability is very poor. The G17 in particular feels cheaply built and nowhere near worth the $259 advertised value.

The whole point of the BOA is to package open-box products for strong value, but in this case the “value” was really just inflated retail pricing attached to subpar products. For $169, I expected at least one usable sidearm. Instead, I got two pistols that don’t hold up in use.
