"I've worn these pants 3-5 days a week around the house for all of COVID and my WFH job. They have held up nice and gotten that nice faded patina that makes woodland patterns so cool looking. I haven't had issues with any zippers or tears. They flex and are functional. My experience is with official issue USMC marpat uniforms, and I had a personal purchase of Crye Precision G3 Field Pants. These Valken Combat Tango Down pants are at that sweet spot for cost vs value even at full MSRP. I really enjoy them and they are my go to pants for when I want to feel "in the zone".

The slash pockets are a little shallow, and things can fall out of them when you are sitting, but there is a zipper pocket right behind them that is much deeper and functions smoothly.

My only gripe is with the fly. These have a zipper, and I personally prefer a button fly. Not a deal breaker, just preference. The snap closure is low profile for comfort behind what is probably intended to be a gun belt or tactical riggers belt. However the low profile makes it easy to pop open if you aren't wearing a belt, which I usually prefer not to for casual wear. There is hook and loop surrounding the button to help mitigate this, but after a few month, the security of the hook loop has waned as you would expect, so now I wear a low profile belt with the pants to prevent this, and it works just fine.

love these pants and I'm inspired to try the other valken offerings in other patterns.
