"These are the older generation of the Matrix M4 series without the G2 gearbox and nice markings, quality seem to be lower as well. Retail was $99 when I used to buy it as a loner.

"I bought this gun 9 years ago. Used it for occasional plinking cans in the backyard and shooting lemons and such. Never fielded at an actual airsoft game. Yet with gentle care and rare usage, it still crapped out on me about a year ago. I write this review because I picked up the rifle recently to see if anything had changed. After disassembling and reassembling the cheap plastic hopup and putting a new bucking and nub, and cleaning the barrel, it still shoots 1 out of 4 shots and many of them just rolled out the barrel. I've decided fixing it is not only out of my reach, but not worth it at all. Lancer tactical have come out with some decent replicas in recent years, but avoid this one... if it ever comes back in stock (unlikely).
