"Got this a cple weeks ago but was unable to shoot cause the green gas didn't arrive together well it finally came and I started to play with the rifle.
First when I got the rifle the bolt was separate and seeing the black gas port protector, I thought that was to protect it during shipment, but it wasn't. And yes, I removed it and threw it away thankfully I got it back before I took out the garbage and was able to put it back. The reason I thought that cause the bolt was hard to put in with it on. But after doing it a few times it got easier, so don't be stupid like me it's there to protect the gas input. I also got some loading clips Waste of a few cents they do not work well and is hard to push the shells in and never align right, and it is more fun putting the shells in one at a time.
Ok so now I am ready to shoot and loved it. Right out of the box shoot straight and fast the FPS I chromed was around 380 averages with 5 shoots. I was grouping within an inch on the bull with the iron sites at 20 feet the scope that you can buy with these sucks I bought that too for the spring loaded one I got and love that rifle as well, but not the scope a waste of money.
What i did notice was that when you push the shells in sometimes the bb comes out an falls into the mag well no big deal you can open it.
It is a heavy rifle, and the wood finish is great nothing moved on the one I got and the sites do not move at least not on mine. The rear site is adjustable for elevation and windage, I was getting about 50 shots per gas load I didn't shoot much cause is was late but I did fill the gas twice and that was the amount I got from it but all in all about 10 bb fell in the mag and I though it miss fired but that was due to no bb in the shell. The bolt is supper easy to pull back but you need to give it a smooth reload it gets harder as you load the shell and I jammed the shell in the chamber twice once I got it out by taking the remaining shell out by hand and pushed the bolt in the next time I needed to use a jamming rod. This is not a fault of the rifle but one of the shooter ME haha.
It along with my other one the spring loaded one are my favorite to shoot.
And I own about 8 airsoft rifles and two .177 rifles. But by far this is the best to shoot for me along with my M1903 I love the bolt action weapons I shoot the real M1 in infantry training and that's when I fell in love with them. I bought a replica of all the weapons I shot in the Marines M14, M16, AK47 and M1 Carbine which is .177 and love shooting them but for me this is more fun.
So yea if you love the replicas as I do then this is a must buy and it is not crazy priced for the build of it. Now as far as gaming goes could not tell you because I do not go to airsoft games I am a Vietnam vet and do not need to play war games not saying there is anything wrong with it just not my thing I like target shooting only but that being said I do not think this would work well in games unless you are a sniper for this it is good and they have a rail that you can buy I ordered it to put better optics on the rifle.

"Well made, works extremely well, and fairly durable. Simply put, its a really well made replica for the amount you pay. (It even includes the safety at the rear of the bolt which I think is really cool). The bolt and rifle are two separate parts when they arrive in the box but its super easy to assemble as you just slide it in and the bolt is very smooth and nice to use. Now, before I describe durability, I want to disclose that I have not heavily used it but have owned it for a few months, and have only really used it to reload for fun and look at. There is a noticeable amount of scratching on the top of the internal magazine from where I have loaded the shells in, but its not a super significant amount of damage for how much I tend to reload it. The only issue I have experienced is that when shooting and racking the bolt, after the 3rd shot where you cycle to load in the fourth shell, the fourth shell has a tendency to get stuck/launch out prematurely. However, If you rack fast enough it doesn't do it, so I'm not entirely sure if its my fault or not. Kind of a negative end for an overall excellent product, but I would definitely buy it again if given the chance

"This Gun is very accurate when it comes to looks. I opened the box and was amazed. "they sent me a real rifle" I joked with my dad. It gave me a little trouble when filling the gas. But It was fine after a moment.
The thing comes with a really cool graduated sight. It drops a lot, and when I got out a range finder and did a little shooting, I learned that the sight is actually supposed to work. you must learn how to use the sight, and judge distance well or this gun will do you no good.
Once I figured it out it was great. I could hit body sized targets. I never expect to hit with a pipoint accuracy (it's not a real gun).
Pros:
It looks great! (I got the polymer stock, and it looks like the real thing)
Poymer is really durable.
Accurate.
The shells always ejected properly, and they don't fly far away so they are easy to find.
Fps is great.
Cons:
Do not buy this gun if you want it to play airsoft with. It's a good prop. My reason is because of the shells. it is longer to load, and you only get five shots :(
The front sight wobbles, but who cares?
the cleaning rod came bent. But that was probably a shipping and handling error.
Overall: great gun. cool prop. Good job D-boy/double bell.

"Pretty good gun. I do enjoy firing it but all guns have their shortcomings
PROS
Decently heavy
Sturdy
Shoots well
Fun to shoot and reload
Pretty accurate
Cons
Some of the wood and the metal piece that holds it in place are loose
Shell doesn't eject sometimes
Jams sometimes
I also don't recommend this gun for actual games. Due to the fact that it uses actual shells means you would have to buy a lot of them, which isn't cheap.

"Alright, first off, It came with a plugged chamber (little piece of paperboard) which I got out with a simple cleaning rod. Second, it has a frequent tendency to pop out the last shell while ejecting the 2nd to last, which is odd but not awful. It's SUPER satisfying to rack. And yes, the silver SMLE shells work PERFECT in this (they are literally the exact same as the 5 the gun comes with, except maybe slightly shinier)
This thing is great if you're like me and have ADHD and constantly want a gun to fidget with and be a stim, but not have the dangers of a genuine firearm. (Or the price for that matter)
Hopefully goes without saying, but the shells have to be retrieved after being fired, so you can imagine the nightmare that would be if you tried to field this thing. That being said, I plan to be the idiot that fields this, just for the hell of it. I've got 20 rounds with it, might as well.
Heavily recommend the real wood stock. Not heavy, and super high quality and amazing feel. I feared the wood would be too heavy, but I was very wrong. SO glad I went with the wood, and you would be too.
4 stars because it's still kinda alot of money for essentially a big fidget toy, but if are super bored and you've got the thick end of $300 in you're pocket, there are far worse ways to spend it.

"I've only bought 3 brand new guns over my 10 year airsoft career. This is one of them. Got the plastic version. Its very smooth, no rough spots. The front sight was loose, fixed by tightening the grub screw under the mock cleaning rod. I added some lithum grease on the contact points where the bolt meets the receiver. A full gas full lasts maybe 30 rounds. With 0.25g I got about 350 fps. My hopup didnt start hopping till I nearly bottomed out the adjustment grub under the rear sight. Shoots slightly to the left, so I'll take out and readjust the bucking or maybe I'll replace it with the barrel (hopefully its vsr compatible). I ordered 25 more shells from hong kong, snow wolf brand and some real steel stripper clips from amazon (yet to arrive). The factory shells seem sufficient however so I feel like I jumped the gun order those shells before testing more Dboys ones. The snow wolf ones have cnc marks around the shells so they catch slightly when cocking. I plan to use this in backyard skirmishes (which is only like few times a year) so we'll see how it holds up. 4/5
