"I just wanted a decent springer for casually shooting cans in backyard without futzing with gas, and yeah, this fits the bill nicely. I chose this particular gun just because the reviews were good, and I love CZ and don't have a real or airsoft one.
What others have said is true. The grips are nice, it looks good and high quality for polymer, shoots well (I like .25 BBs for this gun).
Trigger feel is pretty crisp.
Safety is only functional on one side.... it's $25.
Mag release is not reversible for us lefties.... once again, $25.
Mag doesn't slide out on it's own, you have to give it a little pull.
It is a little difficult to cock, and I've found that you need to push the slide back to it's forward position rather than just let it fall back under spring power. When I just let it go, sometimes it won't go all the way forward and jams up.
I like that the non-functional hammer does come back with the slide, and alerts you that the gun is cocked.
Didn't really need an extra mag since won't be using this in a match, but bought one anyway because they are so cheap.
I want to add, after firing a couple hundred rounds thru this gun, it has honestly made me a better pistol marksman. Compared to any real gun, it's very light and weighted to the rear (the mag weighs as much as the whole gun), which means you *really* have to mind your trigger technique, or it's going to shoot high every time. I can hit a 6" target at 20yds 4 of 5 times, which is really good for a poor marksman like me, and impressive for a $25 toy.

"Beautiful pistol, the look, feel, and weight. Only gripe is the cocking 😩 the SP-01 slide is thin and low with a strong spring. This here a big boy springer BUT I also have the CZ 75D compact which has a better taller wider slide, so you can get a better grip on, on the other hand the Shadow 😏 it looks and feels better in the hands. Very balanced and it has front fiber optic so you'll lock in quick. Plus this springer hitting target very decent. All around a great gun but that slide need a lil umph when cocking though.

"Very solid spring pistol for 20 bucks. I bought 2 and strangely one of the pistol slides locks back unintentionally(The slide catch is non functional) . The other pistol works perfectly. The bottom of the magazine can easily come apart after a drop but I super glued it and its caused no more problems.
Overall solid gun for a spring

"This gun is a great licensed Cz shadow
Pros
-Built sturdy, nice polymer material and rubber grips
-nice sights, the blacked out rear and red fiber optic works great
-the mag is pretty heavy weight ,and extra ones are cheap for 5$ each
-Fixed hopup works great with .20s and above, .12s are ok
Cons
-might be hard to pull back the slide to cock the gun since its pretty small, but the engravings on the slide somewhat help

"Very good gun for a spring

"I wanted to give this 5 stars, I mean, It feels great in the hands, and it shoots with a good amount of pressure, more than a cheap spring pistol for sure.
However, because of the CZ's inherent design (slide with really low height), racking the slide is really annoying. I'm going to stick with it, don't think I can even return it, because this gun is a huge upgrade from a breaking spring pistol I was using before. I also think since I've gotten pretty used to racking the slide of spring pistols, it's not a huge deal breaker for me. Personaly, though, if I knew how short it was going to feel, I probably wouldn't have chosen this spring pistol.
So, if this is going to be your first spring pistol, I would advise against getting this one. Find another spring pistol, something with a big slide, maybe a Glock or Sig type. But, maybe if you've shot spring pistols a lot before and think you can deal with the thin slide, grab this thing. It feels great in the hands, it shoots nice. And if you love CZ's, then sure get it. But don't get this if you're looking for your next daily target shooter.
