ORGA Magnus 6.23mm Wide Bore Inner Barrel for VSR-10 Sniper Rifles - 430mm

"Ok, I use this in a JG Bar 10 gspec. It's been highly moded and upgraded. I was using a Maple Leaf crazy jet vsr10 inner barrel before hand. I installed this with a Maple Leaf decepticon bucking and a SKEE nub. Both from the crazy jet set up. The difference in how much more silent the rifle is is a huge upgrade if your into the sneaky sniper roll. The accuracy and distance were still there as well. There was a slight drop in fps but that's not so important as its still pushing 510-515 fps. I did the cylinder to inner barrel air ratio math and it was so close to the ORGA vsr10 length that it wouldn't matter. A great up grade for a sniper in my opinion.

I will be completely honest, I was pretty scared when I bought this barrel. This is the only VSR-10 widebore barrel I could find and I'm used to using stock or tightbore barrels. I had no idea what to expect. I've actually been using the stock aluminum barrel in my TM and it has worked well, but I thought there was room for improvement. I only saw one review on an ORGA widebore barrel and it was for their AEG barrel. So, I went ahead and bought this.

I opened the UPS box, grabbed the barrel and took it out of its packaging. My first reaction: Wow! The machine work is superb. The polish and crown are incredible. The bore is noticeably bigger than a stock or tightbore barrel and the internal polish is very well done.

IMPORTANT: The thing that you need to keep in mind is that due to the widebore design and the air cushion around the BB, your FPS will drop. You must upgrade your internals to compensate for the power loss. Here is my set up.

The claims from ORGA about the air cushion improving range and accuracy are all valid. With the hop-up dialed in, you can hit a target in the same exact spot with ease between 150 to 175 feet. Note: there was minimal cross wind of 1 or 2 MPH or no cross wind at all when testing. Shot consistency was very impressive. There was minimal left and right movement of the BB, mostly straight, up, or down.

If you have an AEG, make sure you're pushing 400 to 450 FPS before buying and ORGA barrel. I think ORGA's widebore barrel would be a very good investment for a DMR set-up.

Final thoughts: The price tag of this barrel seems absurd, but let me tell you, I would never buy a tighbore barrel again after seeing what this barrel can do. I do not regret purchasing this barrel. This is well worth the price. I would buy it again if I had another VSR-10. Highly recommended.
