APS Kompetitor Electric Blowback M4 Airsoft AEG Rifle (Model: C33 CQB)

"I bought this M4 a couple years ago as my first airsoft gun and has served me extremely well. I can say it’s a great starter gun, although I have trouble sometimes with the recommended battery (9.6v 1600mAh small butterfly) fitting in the barrel hand guard. I can manage to squeeze it in but it is also slightly exposed with the holes in the hand guard. I have only ran into issues with the battery more than the gun itself.

Overall great gun, worth the price for beginners, low maintenance

"Bought this M4 Years ago and still works like a charm. Only upgraded the precision to a 6.01mm Barrel that was 25mm longer, made grouping tighter and made accuracy at 80% of it's max effective range increase by about 10%, and gained 15 FPS roughly. This gun is not only an insane deal out of the box but is extremely upgradable and already has quite good quality parts. APS is made in china and people have said china made not have great products but I respectfully disagree. China based products can be very high quality and this gun is a great example of that.

My Only Con with this gun is that I have mag alignment problems resulting in feeding problems when using other M4 Hi-cap mags based on the way this Magazine was designed and you cannot buy this specific magazine seperately. The simple fix to this I see would be to just swap over another M4 Magwell then buy a bunch of Hi-cap Mags for this gun.

I Also highly recommend to pick up an additional battery for this gun and if you buy this gun, buy the accessory rail version, not the standard version. You can note this by the pictures. Same price, yet you get more accessory rails for a grip or M203 Grenade launcher.

In summary: All in all for the price, it's a Very Well designed and Highly flexible Upgrade platform M4 for beginners or if you just want a reliable and somewhat averagely powerful and accurate gun.

This is a good AEG for the price, I own 3 APS guns and they are all good and have been for about a year.

"Ok so i bought this gun 5 days ago and shipping was fast. Got here on a saturday and only took 3 days. Right out of the box the gun was a bit dirty but its easy to clean. Comes with a polymer 300rd high cap and an unjaming rod. First time i shot this gun it shot perfect. The accuracy was very good and the hop-up was already perfectly adjusted. The front iron sight is very accurate but the one in the back really isn't so i recommend either just using the one on the front or just getting a sight. Now remember that it doesn't come with a battery but to put it in you take off the bottom half of the compartment. I accidentally opened up the top and it was VERY hard to put back on. It comes with rail covers and it comes with a fuse so i think it might be Lipo ready....don't take my word for it though. I have been hearing that the electric blowback can damage the gun but honestly it has been working perfectly for me. The front reciever is kinda hard to take off the first time but after you do that it starts getting easier. Well hope this helped

Pros:

Great range (reached targets around 50 yards away)

Great accuracy

Accepts Standard M4 mags (I use Elite Force mid caps)

Flip up sights

Rails

Blowback

Cons:

Weird handguard (might be pro)

Rear flip up sight is crap, switch it out for something else

Does not come with battery

Other then those few cons, this rifle is a must have for beginners. Hope this review helps a lot!!!

"I've had my APS for about 2 years now, came back to leave a review. Great entry-level rifle, fun to use, easily customizable for foregrip, PEQ boxes, flashlights, etc with the quad rails. I have had the same issues of the battery being tight in the hand guard but figured out a few tricks to make it easier. I did have a problem with the safety selector switch actually falling off, but found out the springs for the guider bb under the switch stretched and fell out so it would lock the rifle in safe until you tightened the switch back on but a little interal work and just removing the spring altogether fixed that. Muzzle comes off and fits a mock suppressor as well so really made my build what I wanted it to be. Still, highly recommend for anyone wanting to dip their toes into the airsoft world, still one of my favorite to use for play.

"This rifle is great! I've had mine for 2 years now and it still functions completely fine. Mine did not like most M4 magazines (they would wobble in the magwell and not feed properly, had to hold them in place so they would feed). Overall, a very reliable rifle and a great first-buy if you're looking for your first rifle. The performance of this is really great for $120 USD, mine had around 340 FPS and a really great ROF.

"I bought this on a deal breaker i.e. I paid less that what its going for currently $120. And I wanted a M4 platform with some recoil.

To be honest this gun performs pretty good to be of the lower end the EBB in my opinion is the major key for it selling.
It has good accuracy, doesnt missfeed much and I mean like 2 bbs out of 100.

Pros: Looks good.
Feels good man!
Light weight, easy maneuvering.
Easily change hand guards. (I upgraded mine)

Cons: Front wiring of the stock is bad when its stock.
The crane stock is of extreme cheap design.
Not sure if the stock is removable.
Has some plastic internals.

All in all this is a good starter to medium user friendly M4.

"This is a nice lower to low mid end m4. Its easily customizable you can change the hand guards on it, put a picatinny rail on it and change the muzzle break on it. Also the EBB system makes it feel more alive, though it doesnt kick much more than a non blow back it still moves around a bit.

Pros:
Its an affordable price point for beginners.
Easy modding capabilities.
Pretty accurate.
Havent had any jamming problem and have fired around 250~ bbs through it.

Cons:
Cheaply made, mostly plastic construction, but is light weight.
Hand guard wiring so you have to mod some wiring to get your battery to work, or get a PEQ box. if you change your rail.
