"The JG Mac-10 is a pretty good sidearm for its price, and one of my personal favorite guns simply because of the look. I bought this with the expectation that I'd be receiving a decent gun, not top of the line but also not bottom of the barrel. I also bought it to suit my riot shield playstyle in hopes of using the Mac-10 one-handed.
Here's what I bought:
- The gun (suppressor package)
- Spare Standard Magazine for Tokyo Marui MAC10
- https://www.evike.com/products/28827/
- Matrix 7.4v 680mAh LiPo Battery
- https://www.evike.com/products/78701/
- This is a LiPo battery. The gun takes NiMH batteries by default, but I like LiPo better
- You must purchase the Tokyo Marui EX Conversion Adapter to use this LiPo battery
- Tokyo Marui EX Conversion Adapter
- Purchased in conjunction with the 7.4v 680mAh LiPo battery
- The battery clicks into the adapter and allows you to use the LiPo battery as the power source
Here's what I concluded:
- The spare magazines fit and cycle perfectly
- The gun feels great and solid. Feels like it could take a bit of a beating, but I would still handle it with care when possible
- Reloading is pretty easy. You can drop the magazine by pushing the lip on the bottom of the grip with your dominant hand or palm it with your other hand
Pros:
- Excellent value for its price
- This gun (suppressor package as well) goes on sale frequently
- The gun actually went on sale the day after I bought it, lol
- Can be used in a holster with the suppressor attached
- Discovered through research
- Can mount a sling to the front and rear of the stock
- Polymer frame, can be onehanded due to light weight
- Doesn't feel like super cheap polymer
- Decent ROF, nothing spectacular but shoots about 7-8 rounds per second which is enough
- Pretty battery efficient when running LiPo, not sure about NiMH
- Stock can extend, although not super far so expect to hunch forward to utilize it fully
- Hopup can be fully adjusted
- I was able to get my .20's shooting pretty straight after some adjusting, but I'd recommend .25's or .28's maybe
Cons:
- The NiMH charger is garbage. Mine worked for a few minutes but broke after putting the battery in for the second time
- This may have been due to user error for inserting the NiMH battery the wrong way, but this also wouldn't instantly break the charger if it was a good product
- This didn't effect me at all since I'm using LiPos anyway but I would've liked to hold on to the charger
- Lower FPS than your average AEG. This is to be expected from these AEPs
- This doesn't make the Mac-10 perform worse though. You can expect fast and accurate shots indoors at close range, just be ready to use full auto if you're outside fighting at mid-range like me
- The Hicap magazine that comes with the gun is... average. You should pick up some spare Midcaps for any airsoft gun anyway
- The Hicap in particular doesn't seat well in the gun and I've heard they can feed awkwardly
- The front sling swivel swings around a lot
- If you buy the suppressor version (which I recommend for looks), it can be screwed on tight to lock the swivel in any 360* position you'd like
Overall, very happy with this purchase. I love the Mac-10 and I hope that it holds up as I take care of it. If you like the Uzi/Mac-10 platform like me and the gun happens to be on sale, you should grab it!

"Love mine. Fielded it this past weekend and it rocked. Yeah its plastic but love the weight savings. Really glad I ordered a 7.4 aep lipo for it, I had to get the EX adapter elsewhere as evike is sold out. The battery that was supplied was dead on arrival and would not charge. I do like how it comes with a hicap and the TM mags are literally identical. You can't tell which is which. The stock release takes some getting use to. Pull just a little to much and the whole thing slides out. But thats just user error.

"People are always surprised when they saw that I had a Mac10 that was an AEG out on the field, great starter gun, recommend the lipo upgrade otherwise you can pull the trigger 3 times before the cycle rate actually fires a BB.
Pros:
-AEG
-fps good for indoor fields
-Lipo upgrade avaliable
-High cap reliable and can last you multiple rounds without needing a refill
-Cheap**
-Good loaner gun to friends when you get an upgrade
-Feels durable
-Semi mode for semi only fields
-hop up
Cons:
-Almost fully plastic (it's 100$, it's what to expect)
-Rate of fire is like a third of the real thing on full auto, even with lipo upgrade
-bigger than the real mac10 I believe
-doesn't take M3 Greese gun mags :(
Worth it for a beginner or cheap backyard fun

"This gun is OUTSTANDING for sure! What a 1:1 scale replica of the original. If you buy this get the EX Adapter & 7.4volt LIPO pistol battery, it makes this come alive to the max! Quality gun for sure, everything about it!!! Accurate to say the least, with the suppressor or not. The 7.2volt NiMn's are ok-but get the LIPO for sure. Get some extra mags, you'll need them! A true COLLECTORS ITEM! HOORAH TDB

"This is a great backup or secondary. It also has a place in CQB play. Far larger than a pistol, it is a full size SMG. Much bigger than its smaller cousin, the M11. You won't be able to fit it in a holster, nor are there any good mounting points on it for a sling. Plan accordingly. Fun little AEG and unique on the field.

"Very accurate with minimal touching of hop up.
Very long and difficult to peak corners with suppressor but very cool looking with great feel to it.

"I ordered two of these because the price and coupons allowed me to be able to afford to for the regular price of another mac10 variant... I love these things even with the weird batteries (insert label down btw). other reviews say there lightweight , which is true compared to full metal m4s and such, but for being poly I think its has a really nice hefty weight to it . no jammed safeties or broken stocks here ... also you can remove the stock completely making it a fantastic close range option!!! these mc10s are flipping beasts for the money would not recommend as a primary but wouldn't give em up for cqb or as a back up to my sniper

"Got the gun only package. Does come with battery and charger, plus manual, a few targets, and some unknown.20g bb's. Not sure of the quality, so gave them to my friend for her grenade launcher.
First off, it is beefy, so you need good size hands to hold this, I don't think a ten year old is going to be able to grip it and depress the trigger. I've been an adult for a little while and the grip is chunky.
second, the battery was only half charged and the charger doesn't work (light doesn't work and it won't charge after 3 hours wait.).
Decent range, better than a pistol but less than an aeg. 450 round mag does sound like maracas, but mid caps are available. I'd say get extra batteries and better charger, or go with lipo's.
As far as I have seen and read, this will be compatible with Tokyo marui parts.

"For the price this is a decent(C- Level) gun. If you have larger hands it’s a better choice. So here is where it gets interesting. If you pull the trigger you can hear the gun start to spool up. If you release the trigger before the spooling reaches the point of firing, it will not fire. Then on the following trigger pull, the bb will leave immediately, as if to finish off what you started but didn’t finish on that previous shot. The spooling is the slowest I have experienced in any electric gun. There aren’t many upgrades and finding a more powerful battery doesn’t seem to be an option. The high cap feeds just fine and holds a respectable amount of BBs. Don’t get me wrong this gun is still very fun for the price. If you ARE NOT a stickler for high performance guns this will do. Rate of fire is sub 17 per second. External Build Quality (B). The silencer can be modified to hold a tracer fairly easily. I have never had any issue with batteries. No comments on the guns longevity.

"Honestly ok for the price. The charger it comes with is complete trash. Shoots ok otherwise if the battery actually would charge
