"They deflect shots. That's about the only good thing I have to say about them. They fog very easily, mostly because they're vented from the bottom (very stupid idea) and the face shield makes the vapor go through the vents. Even without the face shield, they fog easily from the heat of my face. I would recommend investing some decent money for your eyes. You can't go wrong with a full mask.
