"This magnifier works perfectly.
IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER:
In order for an aimpoint style red dot to align, you MUST get a one inch rail riser and then the short mount that likely comes with the sight. The tall mount that also comes with most aimpoint knock offs is NOT tall enough. Therefore, short mount, and one inch riser is essential. I have seen so many people not know this and give up on flip magnifiers because of this.

"Feels great, looks great, works great.

All metal feels nice and heavy as well as cold to the touch.

In order to flip up or down, one must pull it backwards slightly before changing its position. At first this was difficult, but after breaking it in, it works like butter.

This really makes the difference in outdoor games for spotting opponents.

Also, currently the cheapest flip-up magnifier on this site currently, definitely worth the money.

"Okay, so lets get to it.

Really nice construction and durable. Only plastic is the pivot but very durable stuff.

The magnification works as attended very well. Yes there are much better magnifiers out there but lets be real. For airsoft, do you really need a 500$ magnifier?

Speaking for myself. I have a sightmark ultra shot and this lines up beautifully with it. Keep in mind that the eye relief is 2". So has to sit pretty close to your face for a full field of view. Once you adjust this optic to what works best for you, the field of view and magnification is crisp and clear.

There is no spring load on this magnifier. You have to manual pull back on the optic and push it over to the side to flip it out of the way. Perhaps buying a spring loaded pivot and reattaching the optic to that would work much better. Not to sure if that is possible with this optic but I'll have to look into it.

For the price you're getting a good piece of hardware for the field that is going to hold up extremely well if taken care of like anything else.
