SOCOM Gear Double Star 1911 Combat Gas Blow Back Airsoft Pistol by WE-Tech (Model: Pistol Only)

"Got this yesterday. Could not wait to test it out. Firat had a problem with gas emitting on first or second trigger pull but resolved by warming up the mag and pistol because it was extremely cold being outside it is 32 degrees here in NY. Filled the mag with some green gas released and refilled and fired great. I got about 3 mags holding 15 rounds out of a fill.
The pistol shot great with a good kick to it and accurate as far as can be with me shooting it because I am not great with pistol aiming.
Anyway, I love this gun I do not do airsoft games, but I think it will serve well in games.
I highly recommend this, and the flag grips are great. Now got to get the suppressor to make the look more assume.

"This Airsoft Gun is a beast!!! This was my very first 1911 and GBB airsoft pistol. Over the years of use, I had no problems with it. The mags hold more than one full mag worth of bb's. Also I have dropped this gun at many events over the years and nothing at all!! Still works to this day 6+ years later. I know WE MEU brand mags work with this as well!

"Last year, came across this Socom Gear double star combat GBB pistol, love it. Last month, Received it and it was better than expected at first. Last Friday, upgraded and modified it completely. So it�s time to say something about it.

Pros:
1, Fully Licensed Laser Engraved Double Star Trademarks
2, Accurate DSC Trigger, Slide Serrations, Sights, and Lower Rail
3, Matte Black Metal Compensator
4, Pretty Nice Flag Pattern Grip

Cons:
1, Right switch of Ambidextrous Safety is kinda loosen.
2, Nozzle stuck easily, because of piston head and nozzle spring.
3, Slide stuck easily, because of the contact angle between the hammer and gas blow back housing.
4, Wobbly a bit, because of the tolerance.

Upgrade Recommendation:
1, Future Energy Stainless Recoil Spring Guide Set(maybe should modify the guide bushing in length)
2, Angel Custom Enhanced Nozzle
3, Angel Custom Ultimate DYNA Piston Head
4, Angel Custom G2 SUS304 Stainless Steel 6.01mm GBB Tightbore Inner Barrel for 1911
5, AIP 120% Enhanced Nozzle Spring

In a word, it�s a good 1911 GBB pistol when you modify and upgrade it.

"sending back to get fixed likely got it in the flash edition boa, filled it with gas and put on the compensator loaded 7 rounds fired 4 and the tab on the compensator blew a chunk out of the front of the slide....now i understand it may have been a defective slide or something hence why im going to have it repaired
