"What can I say… This is one of the heaviest LMGs that I have owned. It weighs as much as two M60 E3s that are currently available in the airsoft world. It came with the folding M4 style stock and NOT the MK style full stock that is pictured above. I just need to buy the flash hider that’s supposed to come with it because the internal barrel is exposed with the generic plastic one. Don’t let that deter you from purchasing one. This is one fine piece of BADA**ERY! You’re a deserving person that has to be rewarded. I got mines. Get yours Papi. It’s calling you!

"Was so excited when i saw a MK48 finally available for retail. The only other MK48 being the $1k VFC this is a “bargain”Very happy build quality is the absolute best of any support weapon I have owned. Just so everyone is aware mine came with the folding M4 style stock vs the MK style full stock.
Performance out of the Box is acceptable 297fps w .32s.
Magazine holds over 6,000 rounds
Mixed feeling on the proprietary HopUp unit
But the use of the SAW style gearbox was great
HEAVY 18 pounds unloaded but the quality exterior wise is amazing lot of small details like the ejection port opening. Compared with the A&K and CA saw the lower hand guard and receiver have no play at all. Only play is a bit of movement in the quick change barrel.
Overall I would recommend it for the external quality I do plan to go HPA but definitely on the high end for pricing. If you want to run a MK48 replica look no further objectively though a standard saw is less expensive and will do the job.

"EXTREMELY POOR QUALITY

MK48 mod 1 with retractable stock

This is the second mk48 I've purchased from Lambda and was/am extremely happy with the first one, which I still own. This latest run which was stocked in July 2023 is substantially lower quality. The finish, materials, parts and markings are all sub par this time.

Here are the issues I experienced out of the box:

Wire harness for the box mag was not routed through the side of the gun as SHOWN in the pictures. It was routed through the top and SHUT in the feed tray cover. This crushed the wire and caused the gun to not function out of the box.

The body, feed tray and/or cover are out of spec. The feed tray will not fully seat without wiggling back and fourth and forcing into place. This prevents the feed tray cover from closing.

The product listing claims the product has highly accurate trademarks but the gun reads mod 0 and not mod 1.

The materials are not as described as well. The barrel is now all aluminum except for the gas block. The originals came with a steal barrel. Many other parts now seem to be of a lower quality but that's not stated in the description or reflected in the price.

I should have immediately started the return process with Evike however I chose to try and fix the issues as these are almost always out of stock.

For the price I would highly discourage anyone from purchasing one of these.
