The CXP-ARK is a modernized AK Proline AEG from ICS Airsoft. ICS has taken the classic AK platform and given it an update by adding nylon-fiber furniture, a MLOK rail system, and many other usability upgrades to create the new standard for AK airsoft guns. The receiver is stamped and welded steel for unmatched durability and rigidity, and the hinged receiver cover is also steel with an aluminum rail to ensure no shift in zero for attached optics. The stock, pistol grip, and MLOK rail system are made from nylon fiber and have been completely redesigned from a classic AK to be far more ergonomic and comfortable for the user. The SF1 collapsible stock can fold to the side for storage, has an adjustable cheek rest, and holds the battery. The rail system has an integrated handstop, MLOK slots at the 12, 3, and 9 o clock positions, and a Picatinny rail at 6 o clock. The extended fire selector has a cutout to lock the bolt in the rearward position, allowing for easy adjustment of the one-piece metal hop-up unit. The gearbox is standard Version 3 with a quick change spring guide, and has the addition of a new spring tension release feature to decompress the spring after use. An integrated MOSFET protects the electronics and allows for the use of LiPo batteries. Included with the ARK is a new 540-round T-Mag with viewing window for AK platforms.

"Just got mine in today my first airsoft gun and I love it feels very durable but light at the same time only compliment is the adjustable stock you don't have to push the button to extend it kinda scary because that's where the battery goes.

"Ok I may write up a more detailed review in the future. As the owner of about 45 replicas ranging from low budget to top tier. This thing both looks and feels amazing to hold. But I've noticed the 35 dollar ak mags that are made by ics for it are basically property to the gun. And performance is painfully.... Average. A stock cyma Ak can out preform it. It double feeds every so often and range is about 125ft with quite a few bbs flying off to the side or up. It also has an ok trigger response on a 7.4 30c lipo so 11.1 would be the way to go. Selector switch is iffy at best, not a solid click and feels like it could come loose with time. Tbh this thing should really be worth $325 but if your looking for range and accuracy out of the box and want an AK? Just get a cyma
