"Great motor for dropping into a version 3 gearbox! I use this with a Cyma standard AK74u with 13:1 SHS gears with the last tooth shaved to keep FPS low for my indoor field. Very snappy even with the proprietary trolly style trigger system. Can see this being an amazing and affordable upgrade if paired with a MOSFET. I’d recommend re-shimming your gearbox to this motor pinion for the absolute best performance

"I’m happy with this one. It came time for me to rebuild my E&L AK74 for an upcoming OP in august and I purchased this along with a ZCI drop in gearbox. The two paired together are FANTASTIC. Extremely snappy/responsive, the motor seems to be of decent quality and while I don’t care what it looks like, I actually think the “Kawasaki green” is kinda cool 😎

With that said, the ONLY thing I’ll warn you is to not use the spring that comes with the motor. It is made of a very soft metal and collapsed over one night of having it in my gun causing the motor to rotate, shorted the wires out and my lipo caught on fire. It also just generally felt loose in a classic army motorcage. I used a cyma instead

Fortunately, had an old cyma motor cage and spring and it works great now

"Very good motor, used the short type in my scorpion evo with 13/1 gears. It may be a little overkill, but it works well for me. Works with 11.1v.
