Specna Arms X-Series PRIME Airsoft AEG Submachine Gun w/ HAL MOSFET (Color: Half Tan)

"Received my rifle yesterday. Arrived quick. No issues so far. Look up resetting Specna ETU when you first get it or the gun wont shoot. Will update after running a game or two

"REVIEW #2: my previous review stated that i had a bad experience with the gun but infact, the gun was fine, i have an "i dont wanna read the manual" syndrom and i skipped the calibration of the mosfet which involves putting the gun to safe and holding the trigger for 10+ seconds, the gun works great when you adjust the factory settings, set it to your own preference because from the factory it come horribly adjusted with too much active breaking, etc.

"Decided to pick this up as a potential upgrade to an arp series. The body is rock solid. Out of the box it chronoed 430 fps with .2 bbs which of an indoor gun is crazy. Now a couple gripes.

The hal mosfet is very unintuitive. Had to track down and watch a YouTube demo to figure out how to program this mosfet.

It was locked electronically out of the box which is weird

The gun despite have a brushless motor had terrible lag and the motor heated up quick. This was all do to the default settings.

It came from factory with active braking which the manual says not to use with a brushless motor.

Changed the settings up and it's like night and day.

At 310 fps on semi you can easily shoot full auto speeds. And binary is meme teir.

Over all a crazy good gun for the cost. Currently torture testing it to see how far it can go. Running an 11.1v 80c 1000mah lipo. Thing takes it like a champ. Arp9 mags fit nice and tight

"I bought this gun as a first gun to come back to in the AEG world, as I was leaned towards gbbr/gbbp/nbb guns for a long time now, I've heard tons good about the specna arms prime series, so I ordered this gun. Now, I have reached out to specna arms and they have yet to respond as of the date that I publish this review, but right out of the box, I charged my battery and plugged it into the gun, when I pressed the trigger for the first time, the motor vibrated 3 consecutive times, indicated on the HAL mosfet manual as an alarm for an "abnormal situation" (i could not do anything, couldnt activate programming mode, didnt let me shoot at all.) now I see 3 possible issues, the battery, the mosfet, or the wiring. Now its least likely to be the battery as it seems to charge completely normally and my charger would alert of a dead or damaged cell, so the battery is most likely fine, now the wiring in the gun could be damaged or shorted, maybe a plug or tab is loose which is an easy fix, or the worst possible situation, the HAL ETU/mosfet is damaged, which is very bad, I hope specna arms support helps me with this issue, if I can't fix it, I'm going to send the replica back directly to specna, and get a tested replacement back from them, praying that my fluke was just because of a bad batch release, I would give 1 star, but I still have hope that a tested replacement will work much better, I will update the review based on specna arm's reply and decision/
