"These are the definition of OKAY. They work fine, other than muting out majority of slightly loud sounds (better headphones will mute the loud sound in a way that you can hear everything else except the loud boom or whatnot). I have taken these to the range a few times and they do the job without giving me tinnitus.

If you want something for a little bit more that is WAY better, grab yourself a pair of better ones off amazon (like the "Impact Sport").
