" Bought this unit wanting trigger break for my featherweight m249 that has a polarstar unit, so for those wondering if this works great for polarstar boards, it absolutely does, this just simply replaces your safety bar in your gearbox and it still has a safety using the standard selector plate, overall functionality is great and zero complaints in that aspect, however I fully reccomend picking up a cnc/reinforced trigger for using this, just snapped the stock trigger of my featherweight m249. Solid break. Feels like a gbbr trigger well designed and you can adjust it to have a lighter or heavier break, between a couple ounces or up to around 2-3 lbs of break, so in short, if you want trigger break, this is for you, but also be ready to snap a trigger if you dont buy a strong one
