"Bought this as my first "nice" airsoft gun. It's an absolute freaking workhorse. I run it with .25g BBs and a 7.4v LiPo, and it hasn't given me a single issue. It has seen its fair share of rain, shine, and dirt, and still works the same way it did when I unboxed it at the start of the airsoft season. If I could rate this thing 10 stars, I would.

Pros:
1. Full metal construction is VERY sturdy. I tripped and fell on it and the gun was completely fine. Not even a scratch.
2. Very precise.
3. Built-in MOSFET. I don't run a powerful enough battery to warrant needing it, but it's nice to have that protection.
3a. It's also nice to have the different programmable fire modes should I want to mess around with them.

Cons:
1. The price. It's a tad bit expensive, but in all honesty, it's pretty worth it.

"new favorite gun, and I dont say that lightly, I am not easily impressed, but this thing is on another level. my personal advice is as follows: stop reading this review, and buy it.

everything that I do not like about this gun, is everything that I dont like about air soft aks, namely the battery space, weirdo magazine compatibility, selector. so I cannot fault the gun for wanting to stay true the real thing. that being said there are some things that I "noticed". namely the body is steal and the outer barrel is aluminum, I dont have a problem with this, but I worry given the weight of the receiver and length of the barrel with the combination of mock combat that you could end up accidentally bending the outer barrel or end up banging the flash hider into a rock hard enough to strip it off the threading.
this does struggle with the same problem that every top wired ak struggles with, space, and getting the battery can be a little tricky, it takes 11.1v stick lipos, albeit very tightly, at this time I am considering purchasing some ak specific lipos just for ease of changing batteries. obviously I would advise against attempting to pull the charging handle back with a battery installed and cover on top to adjust the hop up.

the statement "it shoots lasers" has always bothered me, usually because its very nonspecific on distance and thus does not address the spread of bbs at longer ranges. how ever if your gun "shoots lasers" than the arcturus ak 12 is an absolute rail gun, it is unreal how accurate this gun is and how much range it has. the gun REALLY likes .25s, it shoots the .25s so well that have no desire to run .32s which is what I usually run.

a quick note, originally I adjusted the hop up to .32s and shot them fine, but the dial was maxed out and I like having the ability to over hop if needed. due to this I down graded to .25s and adjusted the hop up accordingly. fast forward to my first game and it is over hopping like mad, I suspect that there was some factory grease on the bucking and after i shot a few hundred rounds through it wiped that grease away allowing the bucking to get a better bite on the bbs causing it to over hop.

be careful with your magazine selection, it took the matrix branded bulgarian style flash mag that has the locking lugs, but i was un able to get it out. I have been running the cyma 200rd waffle mid caps and also picked up some of the DLS magazines and those work fine.

I was a little hesitant purchasing this one as it has an in house mosfet, I really wanted the perun version, but it is allot more expensive and also out of stock everywhere. this model with the in house mosfet fulfills every desire I have for the gun. namely it retains the super cool 2 round burst or "hyper fire" functionality of the real thing, you still get semi auto, and full. but by far my favorite is that the trigger behaves the same way that every other optical mosfet does, it is very easy to find that sweet spot and put down allot of follow up shots. it has some other basic programs, I have never accessed them as im completely fine the way the gun is set up, but it comes with a programming card similar to what comes with the peruns.

the one place that I feel the gun falls short in is full auto, its plenty snappy in semi, and rips out the 2 round burst no problem, but on full auto I find the rate of fire to leave allot to be desired. its kind of a null point because i usually run mine in semi or 2 round burst. but the full auto is pretty lack luster given the price point. if it bugs you enough just upgrade the motor. as for myself i plan on running this stock until something breaks, at that point I will consider putting a diffrent motor in it. motor and entirety of the gun sounds zippy, not concerning at all.

I have nothing further to really add, other than that I will end this review the same way I started it; stop reading this review and buy it, I guarantee you wont regret it

"Great Ak12 - much lighter than lct, insights much better, as stock version shoots great need a little updates and will be a monster. Chose from Lct, Arcturus, G&G and don't regret taking it one bit that took Arcturus, love it plus Atcturus magazines are the best for Ak12 on the market ;)

Also outer barrel works as 14mm ccw so it is universal for using with any flashhider and silencers ;)

I bought titan Ak style stick battery ! Recommend

Nozzle is 19,85mm so it is hard to find but native does his job.

All you need is - change spring, add brushless motor, piston head, cilinder head, piston, good bucking and your gun will be number one in Ak

But stock version work very well.
