"I received my rifle today. The only thing that I noticed was the front sight base is not level. The rubber buttplate stock is about 1/2 inch longer that the original buttstock. Other than that I really like it.

"For what it's worth, this is an excellent replica of the XM16E1 -- the absolute Vietnam era M16 (since this was used I believe from 1965-67 before the adoption of the M16A1, but after the introduction of the slick side M16). It's got well engraved trades, everything is stiff, and the trigger response with the MOSFET is snappy and quick; it almost sounds like a laser rifle.

My only two cons: the front sight post on mine came crooked, specifically wanted to the left. No big deal to me since I just replaced the barrel with one from my old CYMA M16, but if you buy this new you'll be hard pressed to find a replacement pencil barrel unless you drill out the pins to the proper spot. A grub screw sits under the front sight so it shouldn't be an issue. Next, the rear butt plate isn't exactly the same size as the stock, but it's not too noticeable.

If you like the early style of M16, and the Colt trades, but this rifle. You won't regret it.

"cheap cyma plastic furniture, incorrect flash hider is impossible to remove, I needed an entire new barrel assembly. ABS stock cracked. replacing with real M16 furniture. unfortunately, I don't think the delta ring is strong enough to actually hold the handguard in place for heavy fielding.

Considering the gate aster and wonderful performance, I will say that it's about worth the price, but it's not perfect.

"My front sight was also turned left about quarter inch too far...sights are unusable, outer barrel also has a bit of wobble. It does function and rip quite well was able to easily lift .32 BBs about 250 ft. Added sound dampening to inside of stock and handguard to help with the cheap plastic. Once I reassemble the whole front end again will be more then happy with purchase.
