Open Box Item - A Mystery Airsoft Gun with value over $140

"I had pretty big expectations for buying this and was a little upset with what i got. iI got an Armalite M15A4. looked at the reviews and the gun is a decent gun, pretty durable, but for starters... I've been playing for about 6 years on and off and i know a good gun when i see it, and this is alright. i mean the gun is only worth $104.95, currently $89.21 (11/24/17). We'll be putting it thru a shooting test come Sunday. but im alil upset about what i got all in all. at least I only paid $85 for this Mystery Box. ill be buying another Mystery Box when they go on sale again. hopefully i get a better gun next time.

"Kinda disappointed. States you'll receive a $110-200 gun and I got an elite force M4 ($109, lol). I guess they round up. Seems like a decent gun. It's my first so can't complain too much. Came with gun, 2 mags, battery and charger. Really was hoping for a much better deal.

"One box had a decent m4 aeg.
The other had a gbbr combat machine. Dont advertise as an aeg box if you you are sending people springers and gbbrs.

"Well the gun works, I got a terrible m4. It says the value of the guns will be anywhere from 110-220 dollars I believe. With that said the m4 I got feels like a 60 dollar gun, the entire gun is made of extremely light abs plastic. I feel like one drop and the gun will break. On the brighter side the gun does actually should quite well. has about 100-120 feet that the gun can reach and It did shoot right out of the box and is not a terrible gun. I am just surprised that this gun is actually valued at 110 dollar or more. I am not entirely satisfied with my purchase but I can not complain considering the gun does shoot and it SHOULD be a metal gear box (I have not checked to see if it actually is). Overall, I would not recommend this product to anyone looking for a gun of actual use, unless you have plenty of extra guns (and money) or just looking for parts.

"Bad idea for cold climates…

I ordered this and received a green gas Glock 17, the gun is fine but it runs off green gas and I live in Colorado where it can constantly be below 30 degrees. Open mystery boxes are a super cool idea but it sucks to spend 100 bucks and get a gun that will not work where you live. I contacted evike and they said there can be no returns or exchanges for open box items and offered no solution to me. Pretty disappointed and will not buy this again. Maybe you guys could have three different types of mystery boxes? AEG, co2, and green gas? Sending green gas guns to cold places is really not smart.

"I got a Taran tactical matrix 2011 combat master which is cool I guess, I'm really upset with it because I got this same exact pistol 3 or 4 months ago from an actual BOA. It's cool but I'm not happy with it but that's my luck lol

"Wasn't blown away but it was only 99 bucks ended up getting a CAA M4 $150 value so it was over the 140.00..lol although it was on sale for 125.00. Gun was in good shape only missing a check rest and cleaning rod, didn't come with battery or charger. Gun worked fine and was in good shape cosmetically, I guess with the wait for getting it shipped and the transit tracking we got overly excited. nice little m4 though.

Would not buy again only due to the fact it was roughly 140 with shipping because the $99.00 is under the free shipping cut off so add the 36 buck standard shipping puts you right up around $140.00 for a open/used gun that this time was valued at full price $150.00 on the evike,.com however on the CAA site it is valued $137.00 brand new @ on the CAA website.

I get it it's a gamble and we'll have some fun with it, but pretty disappointed overall.

"Got an Avengers BAMF M4 URX (which seems to have been only available with a starter package). My first impression before taking it out of the box I was impressed. Upon taking it out of the box however the outer barrel and rail was extremely loose and there was so much slop in the barrel. I was very disappointed in Evike's Q&A process they state these products go through , I was expecting something ready to go out of the box. Included a magazine, and a battery, but no charger.

Shooting it for the first time I was disappointed. Tore it open and found very little lubrication in gearbox/cylinder and hardly any compression. Greased it all up and was much improved.

I guess sometimes you'll get something above the value of the mystery box, and sometimes not. I wished I would have spent the money on something I really wanted. Either way it was not a missed opportunity as I had something I had absolutely no fear in taking apart.

"Like several others, I received an Elite Force M4 for my mystery box. Felt like an alright solid beginners gun so I wasn't too upset, only spending $85 bucks and all (gun only came with one mag and no battery or charger as well). Only problem is, then gun doesn't fire and the charging handle comes out of the gun when pulled. On top of that, received a completely different scope than the one I ordered. RMA'D and still haven't gotten a response. All in all, a very disappointing first purchase from Evike, and hoping it was just a fluke this time.

"So, even though the description is s "full size aeg" I ended up with a bolt action spring sniper. Now I was in the market for an airsoft sniper, so for myself its not much of a problem, however if the boxes do have a chance of containing a item other than an AEG the description should not be "Mystery Full Size Airsoft AEG with Metal Gearbox"
Overall I love evike, but I annoyed that I ended up with a spring sniper rather than an AEG.

Now the sniper itself is great. I do like it a lot. It also came with a variable zoom scope and a bi-pod.

"I got a famas f1. When I opened the box all their was just the gun and a battery I looked around and couldn't find a magazine. So I put in the battery and nothing happen the I grab one from my m4 nothing the gun dosnt work what a waste of money :(

"I ordered November 16, 2023. I originally got a magazine instead of a gun. I sent it back with no hard feelings, I understand working with open box inventory can be hard. It is March 31, 2024, and I still do not have the item I purchased. I requested updates via email several times, and as of January 30th, I was told it would be looked into with no update. I really like Evike, but I also really like receiving an item when I give a store my money.

"Got a dragunov spring sniper. It sadly broke during the chrono before the first game. I had to drive home without playing. Since my first time using it was past the two week warranty, I was told nothing could be done. Waste of 100 dollars.

It is a nice replica, but would be nicer if it was functional. The signature of the tech who looked over before shipping was not legible. Was told it was 330-350 fps. It shot 460 before it broke.

"If you buy this mystery box do not expect the price point given. For example I received a broken m4 black ops that couldn't feed .2 bb's at all. the gun didn't come with anything and the packaging was terrible. I could actually buy this gun on ebay for less right now.

"Very disappointed waiting on my third gun to arrive in the mail because the first 2 were m4a1's that were not working the first none working never functioned and the second function for 15 shots that quit so hoping that I get a fully inspected gun that passed inspection I will change review once new gun areas but been dealing with this headache over a month now and the best they could do was give me 3 day shipping and exchange the boxes for sending me faulty non working guns
