"To answer you question, I'd say wait for a while and find out based on the reviews of this. It has the same barrel length as a G36c and a longer barrel than the MP5 in addition to being much smaller. Also, to the guy recommending the G3 over the E90, the E90 has not come out yet, anywhere, so how would you know?

"Super fun gun, feels awesome and pretty much the only gun ive ever bought that comes with a battery. First day of running it however, it stopped working after about 200 shots. It sounded like the gearbox stripped (just motor spinning noise with a grind). Thankfully I had a backup gun.

Took the gun apart today to see what was wrong, I had assumed it was the plastic piston since the rest of the internals are metal. Tear down was super easy, 2 Phillips heads and the whole gearbox drops out. Took apart the gearbox and everything looked normal. No obvious damage. I did notice that the spider gear on the motor was chewed up a little. Turns out, the motor wasn't adjusted properly. I reassembled the gear box and adjusted the motor (hex screw on the bottom on the motor) and now it shoots perfect. Ordered a replacement spider gear and stronger piston, as well as everything I need to make it lipo ready.

Chronoed at almost 400fps out of the box using .20s. Shoots like a laser and feels tough. Got a couple compliments and people asking to hold it. If it didn't have the motor adjustment issue, it would have been 5/5, but instead I give it a 3/5.

"Unfortunately, It's broken twice in a couple months. First time, the end of the hop-up snapped off when I pulled the upper receiver off(was stuck on). Second, the trigger group broke in full-auto, and I'll now miss a game this weekend due to this.
Under 10k BBs thru it with the stock battery.
Additionally, the charger that was bundled with the gun and a 7.4v LIPO gets scary-hot. Feels almost scalding even in an air-conditioned room. And the gun shoots slower on it then the stock battery anyway, so that seemed like a waste.

All that said, I still love my P90, and really want to make it work. It shoots consistent, and never jammed until the second time it broke.
If by some miracle Evike can make this right, I'll adjust my rating to match. But as it stands, I think 3stars is pretty generous for the issues I've had. And that's a shame, because it's a lot of fun when it's working, and the only P90 out of 60 players on the field I play.

"So I bought this P90 because I wanted something besides, of course, an M4.

The looks, comfort, and weight are spot on, albeit the back being a little heavy but that's better than the front and it's a bullpup anyway.

The gun comes with 1 mag, a cleaning rod, and the gun of course but it also came with a speedloader which stands out to me because it wasn't listed as part of the package, so that's a plus.

Now for the bad parts:

I hate it when people leave bad reviews just bc they demolished the gun out of their own stupidity, so I will tell you now that I only tampered with the gun after all that you are about to hear transpired:

The gun feels like its gearbox is punching the shell, that's how hard it feels when it shoots. As a consequence it seems like it would be a little hot for cqb. The hop up is finicky and there seems to be no way to reach a sweet spot. Also the bbs fly to either side not in a straight line. I tested this on windy days and not windy days and it was all the same.

I decided I could live with the heavy trigger pull and rattle, but such a significant accuracy issue confused me because the gun is so highly praised.

Gradually the gun began to lose power over the next few weeks, and then the selector between semi and full-auto broke, which is a problem for me because it is easy to mag dump on full auto. On a side note, the rof is very good which made it hard to try and fire a single shot on auto.

So after a while of not using it i took it apart and discovered that a peg on the trigger contact had broken, twisting the contact sideways and rendering the contact unstable and almost useless. It barely made contact with the receiving contact.

I found no way to fix this, and the gun has sat in its box since. I am sad that i had such a bad experience with this gun because it is so classic and cool.

As it is, you will probably have a much better experience than me with this gun, but I cannot in good confidence leave five stars. Hopefully you won't get a lemon like me.

To sum up:

Great rof
Shoots hard

Bad accuracy/hopup
Feels like a cat fight is happening inside the gun while you're shooting it
Trigger contact is shattered

FN Herstal, you have yet to impress me
