"It's a great gun, heavy and realistic. But there are some problems:
1. Both the one I tested at the Evike store and my own shoot high
2. The safety is extremely stiff at times
3. mine came with a broken right safety (it hangs loosely and wont engage).
4. No de-cocking. Not even by easing the hammer forward (that leads to half cock). the only way to de-cock is blank fire the gun, which I don't like to do

"All I can say is that this gun absolutely the best. The only problems I have had with it are some leakage with the CO2 magazine and the slide catching at first use. However, the slide gets better with a few shots.

"This is my 3rd GBB and i'm impressed by performance. It has almost as much range as my friends TM MP5, and is pretty heavy for a pistol. Kick is what you expect from a GBB not very impressive.
There were a few bad things about this, some major some not. The first is that it has less than average gas efficiency. I can barely get a full mag out of a complete fill. The other con is pretty major in my opinion but doesn't affect the performance. The little plastic piece on the top of the mag broke off at the second game i used it at. Now i need a new mag which will cost me $35+
Overall 3.5 or a 4. I would get a TM if you have the money but if your budgeted (like me) get this.

"you can replace the grips you need either a philips head or an allen screwdriver depends on the model, also the slide DOES lock back unloading all of the shots.

"This gun was a good buy in my opinion. It's big, heavy and loud, so it's definitely got the intimidation factor going for it. It shoots fast, seems as accurate as my aeg, and uses 30 round clips, so I often use it as my primary or give it to a friend to use. I HAVE had some problems, all while using CO2. The first time, after firing, the slide got stuck in the back position and was a real pain to fix. Second time, the back safety popped out of the grip and i had to take it apart to get it back in working condition. Strange seeing it's well taken care of.

"I am very interested in this gun, only question, does it have a threaded barel?

"This gun has an ideal weight (doesn't feel like junk), disassembles great for cleaning/maintenance, and the realism on everything from the trigger to the dovetail safety and sights are amazing. The OD grip also has a great texture. BUYER BEWARE TOUGH, the gun is engineered to use both Green gas or C02 magazines (Thats a pro) but Evike has it listed as coming with a Green gas magazine, and mine showed up with a C02 mag in it instead. The C02 mags are more powerful, but some places won't let you play with them because of this. C02 mags are more maintenance because you have to partially disassemble the mag at the bottom to replace the C02 cartridge when it runs out, and if you don't tighten the bottom enough you could have it fail in competition. Stick with green gas,

"This is my first GBB and I have to say compared to some peoples guns who are experienced, it's pretty good. The bad thing about this weapon is the acuaracy, sometimes it shoots straight and other times it will curve, I adjusted my hop up to where I consistently shoot straight.

"Only problem I found with this is gun is that the normal cartridge (the one that uses green gas, propane, or red gas) leaks a considerable amount. Every single time I reload the bb's I have to put a full charge of gas in. Other than that, it shoots far, is very accurate, and an overall good gun.

"Not quite as fully functional as I had hoped (see below), but still a decent pistol. Shoots right at 340 to 345 fps with regular green gas and 0.20 BBs. Accuracy is plenty good with stock components.
My two big disappointments (minus one star each since I have high expectations and certainly expected KJW to be on their game):
As of Feb 2019, the pistol I received did NOT come with the "Hard polymer genuine Tanio Koba grip / trigger frame" as advertised. The grip frame is essentially identical to the one pictured, but there are no trademarks on the smooth stripe on the grip by the magazine release on either side of the grip. Also, it's definitely just hard polymer - no over-molded rubber or Pachmayr-type rubberized grippiness. (That would have definitely been a big plus.)
Less than awesome point 2: You must use the slide stop to release the slide for a reload. Said another way, you cannot pull the slide back and let go (slingshot) to reload. The slide stop is not under any downward spring tension. Once it's up and locks the slide back, it's held up due to the forward tension from the slide and it needs to be physically depressed. For a company that prides itself on realistic design and function, KJW missed this key functional attribute. This was actually a pretty big disappointment for me since it does not match real steel functionality and this is certainly not hard to design in. If you get this pistol, I would highly recommend an extended slide stop to make reloads an easier and faster process.

"It is a really gun but it has its issues. First not the biggest issue but the slide wobbles. I have had It for 4 month now and the first major issue has arrived. The safety has broke on the right side. There is no tension on is and it will randomly get turned on.

"I previously wrote a review but I have found more to add over time. I like this gun but it could be better. To start the front sight is not integrated into the slide which I personally don't like because mine fell off and it is hard to replace, however some people like the adjustability. This gun also is not very gas efficient and requires more maintenance than most other pistols.
Pros
Intimidating
Durable
Realistic weight
Mag capacity
Cons
Front sight falls off
Not gas efficient
Expensive magazines
Safety comes loose

"(SORRY FOR IT BEING SO LONG BUT ITS WORTH TO READ THE WHOLE THING) I have had this gun for about a year now. Out of the box this thing was amazing! I loved it . the blowback is really hard (and I don't say that lightly), the mag it comes with slides in the magwell like a dream, And out of the box I didn't even need to ajust the hop up with .20s. The first time I played with this gun i didn't have a primary because mine broke the day before the game i was going to. This thing preformed great as my only gun, it would shoot really far and accurate with ease. The only problem was that later in the day the mags started leaking but i put some silicone in there and it worked fine. After i got home i replaced the seals and it seemed to work fine. Then i inspected it a little more and the slide wobble would annoy me tremendously and so would the mag wobble. But who cares as long as it works fine. So i played another game with it as my secondary and let me say that it was not reliable at all. My primary is kinda long so when i go in bulidings i want to take out my pistol and it fires like 5 shots before it runs out of gas. Game after game it does the same thing. And that's a big deal for me cause if im gonna get a seconday i want it to be reliable so when i need it the most it will work for me. And with other Hi capas this has happened too i guess. i just thought KJW might be different but nope. So in conclusion if you want a hard kicking CQB gun for your primary i would sugesst to get this and tac it out and stuff. it would be cool. but if u need a reliable pistol this is not for u. i would suggest getting the 911 tac by EF of The ACP by APS or a KWA because of their reliability.
