Tokyo Marui Limited Edition Strike Warrior 1911 Airsoft Gas Blowback Pistol

"So if I'm being completely honest, I bought this on a whim. Saw it being used in an anime and wanted it. Now onto the review.

This is my first Tokyo Marui gun, and I was off-put a bit by the polymer slide. That said, when I got my hands on this, my opinion changed drastically. The polymer feels EXTREMELY durable, yet it feels nice and light with just a touch of weight to make it comfy. It does have metal bits like the slide catch, mag release, safety, etc. The grips feel a bit rubbery, and it has a nice smooth feel. Cosmetically it's beautiful yet simple and feels solid. It also fits into standard 1911 holsters and will accept full-size 1911 grips despite it's compact appearance.

Now performance is no slouch either. The trigger pull is super light and responsive and the reset is snappy. Due to the polymer slide the pistol cycles super quick and you can squeeze off a solid two/three round burst before enemies have time to get a shot-off, I kid you not. The fast trigger response helps tremendously with this. The FPS claims to be 280, but with green gas, I was easily achieving 310fps on a warm day. Accuracy is great, I get tight groupings with this at 100ft and could easily slap a human-sized target with minimal effort. Did I mention it's a beamer?

As for the cons of this gun, there are relatively few. If I had to say, the worst parts of this gun would be the takedown procedure and the magazine gas capacity. To field strip this gun, you have to unscrew the muzzle device on the front, so it's a tad bit of a hassle, but relatively minor. And the magazine will only get out one mags worth of rounds, though all rounds fired come out strong. The low gas capacity is to be expected from such thin magazines though.

Overall I give this gun a 5/5 star rating in both cosmetics and performance.

"I'm a large fan of all TM products, yes i am aware that TM products are all plastic builds but the quality of the pistols and rifles both gas and electric are out standing! I recently purchased this pistol and havent even upgraded any internals and this weapon was a fantastic grouping at most CQB styled ranges (5-10yrds). The FPS is of course lacking but once I get my hands on some internal parts it will be a great addition to any players CQB arsenal!
