The late 1980's and early 1990's are known as the dawn of the age of the polymer framed, striker fired pistol. The Glock 17 had taken the law enforcement market by storm leaving the traditional steel frame hammer fired pistols in the dust. Compared to service weapons of old, the lightweight and easy to use large capacity 9mm pistol was like something from the future, every law enforcement agency wanted it. Riding the wave of that popularity, a myriad of other firearms manufacturers entered the fray with their own "wonder 9" in the United States, big names like Colt and Smith & Wesson threw their hat in the ring, some designs were good, others less so. One of the best designs, that endures to this day is the Steyr Mannlicher M9. Unique in its styling, the M9 offers the traditional polymer frame and striker firing mechanism many have come to know and love from Austrian made pistols. What sets the M9 apart from the crowd is its high grip profile, which holds the barrel access closer to the shooters hand, increasing accuracy by reducing muzzle rise and allowing for a quicker follow up shot. Of the crowd of pistols that came out of the "Wonder 9 Years" many faded into obscurity and others never made it off the drawing board, the Steyr Mannlicher M9 however, sees use internationally in the hands of some of the most elite military and law enforcement units.

"Cool pistol ,fires way to hot for cqb and has a harder trigger pull than other pistols. Otherwise for 40$ not to bad.
"First of all It is a very good gun it shoots straight with 20 g bbs. But after one year of using it the gun wonít shoot you have to bang the mag back in just to shoot. But it shoots very hard 500 FPS so it will leve a welt. I youed the gun hard so thats why itís broke. But I played in a feald with some hay bales set up so it was close range so it hurt. All of my frends got the gun and all thereís are still going strong. All in all I would recommend buying this gun The price is extremely good for the performance.
"Nice sidearm, it's decently accurate. It's load when you fire it. This thing is so powerful that I can't even bring into the outdoor fields that I go to. When I can bring it (I'ts only allowed as a secondary and supposed to keep a distance. When I fire it in the field, people run for the hills.
Reasonable ammo capacity
Nice weight (makes it more realistic)
Great looks, especially the sights.
Very powerful (banned in some fields)
Long trigger pull
There's a small piece that extends out of the barrel a bit, when discharging the weapon.
