"I give this thing 5 stars. Has superb trigger response on a 21k - 46k motor, Good quality matrix etu. Its got the magnetic trigger sensor instead of the oldchool microswitch in the g2. Solid internals and good shimming from factory. I use this gearbox for all my base builds. Only con is the g3 has a propietary trigger cant upgrade to a flat trigger. this gearbox keeps up with cyma platinum performance for budget builders. I run this gearbox with all shs aluminum internals except a shs high speed polymer piston paired with a shs balanced 16 tpa 46k rpm and get insane trigger response and 30 rps with a 11.1 lipo on stock gears!!!

"Great value for the price, purchased to revive my old G&G combat machine backup gun. Trigger response is phenomenal with an 11.1, and it’s been shooting a pretty consistent 390. Only complaint is that the gearbox is a little noisy, but that can be fixed.

"This gearbox is good for the price; however, it does have misleading information such as claiming 8mm ball bearings, which would make one assume all 3 gears have such bearings but that is not true, only the bevel gear has one the rest are metal bushings, which have significantly worse performance than ball bearings. The rest I really cant complain about for the price, it has an all-metal teeth piston which is surprising at this price point, however compression was poor, which is to be expected at this price point with a plastic nozzle and odd cylinder head design. Plus a plastic spring guide with no bearings around it may risk damage at higher fps springs. The gears also seem like they would likely face a lot of wear with stronger springs. So it would be optimal not to put a high-power spring in this gearbox if you plan to keep it stock. The ETU works amazingly though, so If you plan to upgrade this gearbox I would suggest improved compression components and stronger gears, plus relacing the other bearings with ball bearings. Overall, the performance of the etu is outstanding and if you plan to keep the gearbox stock with the 300-400 fps springs no upgrades will be necessary.

"Weak gears, bad shimming, proprietary trigger, shell, MOSFET and sector gear.

Worked great for about 2 hi cap mags. Then the spur gear shaft broke, breaking 2 teeth off the sector gear.

Mosfet doesn't even have low voltage detection.
