LCT Airsoft is well known for their incredible attention to detail, especially pertaining to their line of Kalashnikov style and Kalashnikov inspired weapons. They feature heavy duty stamped steel receivers and dust covers, authentic rivets, and heavy steel outer barrels. Real wood furniture adorns the weapon, giving it a look and feel of that of a real firearm; for added realism, the weapon even smells of cosmoline for that extra level of authenticity.

"This AK is awesome! Fantastic build quality as expected of LCT. Everything from the body, barrel, rails and wood furniture feel totally solid and ooze quality. I personally dig the classy wood furniture with modern rail hand guard combo. The stock can fit a 9.6V mini NiMH with room to spare (a LiPo is recommended to provide enough juice for the EBB system).

Pros
Heavy realistic weight and feel
Ample battery space in the stock
Excellent fit and finish - no trouble taking off or putting back the dust cover on the gun I received

Cons
Might get tired carrying it after a while
Hop up may loosen during firing because of the heavy reciprocating bolt - workaround fixes should be possible

It is expensive, but in my opinion worth it for this high-end, feature-rich example of an AK!
