"once i figured out how it goes on it went on smoothly and i love that i have rails on my m249 now exactly as advertised

"This says it's a lower handguard for a variety of M249 aeg's by various makers, of which they directly mention A&K. I have an A&K Middle weight M249 Para Saw and it definitely did not fit, which is unfortunate. I was able to take a piece of sheet metal I had laying around, and after some bending, cutting, drilling, grinding, sanding, and painting, I had a means to attach this to my my saw. I effectively made a piece that I could bolt the lower handguard to, and then I was able to attach THAT to my saw after I slightly modified my saw to allow it to be bolted securely in place.

I'm giving this a 1 star review not because of the product itself, but because the item description is vague, misleading and, in my case, inaccurate. The handguard actually seems well made, it just wasn't made to fit my A&K M249 Para Saw, which according to the item description, it should, but it doesn't. I hope they update the product description with a detailed list of M249 saws that are actually compatible with their product.
