"Just got this today and Wow my VFC Glock 17 cycles alot faster than the stock recoil spring.

"*disclaimer* I use a VFC G17 with a SAI Utility slide and barrel, NOT the stock barrel and slide. All other internals are stock, so your fit with other outer barrels/slides might be different!

Right out of the, in this case a bag, this thing has a very nice finish. Its springs are much stronger than the stock springs, which means its going to cycle a lot faster. And it really cycles faster. Honestly, for how much of an upgrade this is, the price for it is a steal. The only MINOR issue i have is that the main thicker springs guide rubs along the shell that protects the inner spring (if that makes sense) and it makes the sound of rubbing against brushed metal. Not that theres any problem in this, if anything itll be a problem way later if it rubs against enough to ruin the finish.

TLDR, if youre trying to make your VFC G17 (and this will only fit 17s) a competition shooter, definitely buy this. It also just looks nicer and is higher quality than the plastic stock one.

cycles faster
lasts longer
cheap upgrade that really helps!

Cons: none.

Just make sure you spray some silicone spray before you use it, as it comes dry!

"This works well on my vfc glock 17 gen 4; it increases the recoil and the cycling speed much more than the stock spring although I don’t like how to strips its own finish on the inner spring as the other review mentioned. Although the stripping isn’t a problem at all even aesthetically you can’t really see it. For the price this is a really good option
