The Lonex Ultimate AEG cylinders are designed to provide the best possible air compression and durability. Lonex recommends to pair your Lonex Cylidner with Lonex Cylinder head for best result. Steel Cylinders are made of true steel with treated surface to ensure low friction and maximum durability. The placement and size of the decompression holes are designed to provide maximum compression to increase performance.

What Are Type 0, 1, 2, and 3 cylinders?

  • Type 0: Type 0 Cylinders are full volume cylinders that use all the amount of air in the cylinder to propel a BB forward. Works best with 363mm to 550mm inner barrel lengths as that amount of air will be needed to push bbs farther in Rifle and DMR-style builds.
  • Type 1: Type 1 Cylinders are ported cylinders that are cut right at the edges of a cylinder to utilize a portion of the full amount of air volume. Works best with 318mm to 510mm inner barrel lengths for Carbine-like builds.
  • Type 2: Type 2 Cylinders are ported cylinders that have inset cuts a third of the way into a cylinder to allow more air blow-off. Works best with 280mm to 430mm inner barrel lengths for PDW and CQB builds.
  • Type 3: Type 3 Cylinders are ported cylinders that are cut at about the middle of the way into a cylinder to let half the overall air volume generated to be blown out. Works best with 45mm to 229mm inner barrel lengths for extremely short barrel builds and CQB oriented DSG builds.

    "works great. insane compression and efficiency. you do have to use a mallet to get the lonex cylinder head in it. overall recommend.

    "This is my second review of these cylinders. My opinion hasn’t changed; they’re great. Very strong and smooth. I’d be surprised if one failed. I’ve compared these to a lot of other stock and aftermarket cylinders and it might just be me but these feel like they have a tighter interior tolerance than most; I always get a great seal. However, I moved away from using Lonex heads with these cylinders as the tolerance is too tight. To the point that getting them on requires removing an o-ring and and beating it in. Seal is good, but it’s too much of a hassle. I’ve been using rocket airsoft cylinder heads with these recently and they work beautifully. They still seal great but can actually be installed/removed with a minimal amount of force. Overall still great cylinders, but tolerance between parts might be something to keep in mind.

    "Best cylinder ever purchased, super tight fit with shs cylinder head. Was getting 380 to 390 fps with .28's.
    Had to swap from m120 to m110 and got 340 to 350 fps with .28s

    This was also paired with shs Swiss cheese piston and lonex pom expanding piston head 👍
