"Coming out of the box, the custom comes in two pieces. The gun, and the barrel attachment. My package didn't come with a manual so I'm kind of flying blind here as I've never owned a Luger model before.

Getting the attachment was not very hard, it just took some time. But it feels amazing and looks amazing once you get it on.

PROS:
-THIS THING IS HEAVY. About as heavy as maybe a small SMG aeg.
-LOOKS AWESOME
-FEELS GREAT IN HAND

CONS:

-NO MANUAL
-SOMEWHAT DIFFICULT TO ASSEMBLE. YOU HAVE TO BE A LITTLE ROUGH.

"I wanted a replica of this Blaster the minute I saw it and wow this was worth the wait! The finish is perfect, everything fits flawless and once completed it is definitely one of the most balanced replica Blasters I have ever owned, defintely knocked out of the park. As for the functionality of the airsoft I do not use it for that but only to display and admire but I can't imagine it is flawed in that department either as the quality and feel is amazing, thanks so much!

"I recently purchased this kit as I loved the esthetics of it and it certainly doesn't disappoint once you have it in your hands when it is fully put together but, getting to that step was, at least for me, a huge challenge.

First off I want to say that there is basically no documentation for this kit. There is a sheet of card stock with some QR codes on it in the box with the Luger P08, and various QR codes on the outsides of the boxes for the Luger and the Shroud but, those basically just lead to AW Custom's website and you have to search for it from there. Even then, the documentation is basically nothing, you have a "Operators Guide" which gives you a bare basic's for taking care of and operating the Luger, and then a Parts Diagram which basically just shows you all the parts of the gun if you were to fully disassemble it. There are no instructions on how to attach the shroud to the Luger but thankfully I found a very good youtube video on that by just typing in the kits name.

Now onto actually putting the shroud onto the Luger. It was VERY DIFFICULT (at least for me). I tried to follow the trick that the guy in the video did to get the shroud to just slip into place and it didn't work. It took me several days of twisting, turning, pushing and pulling to get the shroud into place which, scratched up the left side of the Luger (when looking down the sights) due to how the shroud is constructed but thankfully it is all hidden by shroud. Now that the shroud is fully in place though, I don't think I would ever actually use it. The shroud pushes on the slide, causing it to have a very tough time moving in and out with out manual assistance and, I don't want to know what sort of damage that might cause if I tried to use it. If you have enough trust in your technical abilities you could probably very easily widen the shroud enough to get the slide to move as intended. I just don't feel like going through the effort now that I have it fully assembled. Please note that again, yours might slide on with no issues, just mine did not.

With all that having been said, this kit now that it is fully assembled, looks and feels amazing! I think I will be purchasing a standalone Luger P08 just so I can have one to actually use. I don't recommend getting this kit if you want to seriously use it but, if you are a big starwars fan or just want a display piece, find some reference photos, paint the parts of the shroud that are suppose to be black, grab a display stand and have a nice conversation piece.

All in all I am just rating this kit as average, it is not good or bad, I could have just gotten a bad shroud which caused all my issues. If I had to buy it all over again with the knowledge I have now, I would.
