"Light seems to be about 5000K color temperature with decent 80+ color rendering index, so what you shine the light on should appear roughly true to color and not too washed out. The included mount options are nice. There is a newer model of this light that has a built-in rechargable battery, but the LED and driving electronics will likely outlive the battery inside the newer model of light, whereas this one will keep on going as long as CR123A batteries are still made. I could hand this thing off to my grandkids if I ever have those in the future.
