The A&K Thompson M1A1 is a full size Airsoft rifle that does not require battery or gas to power. Utilizing many of the same furniture and externals of a Tokyo Marui / CYMA / King Arms Thompson, this Thompson replica is packed with valuable quality external parts, with the superb 1:1 scale look and feel to it, and uses main stream M1 / Thompson AEG magazines!
History of Thompson M1A1: Designed in 1918 and used by soldiers, mobsters and police for over 4 decades the Thompson submachine gun put full auto firepower in the hands of anyone who could carry and operate a regular rifle. Popular due to its small size, high rate of fire and body-dropping .45 cartridge, the Thompson quickly gained popularity with groups that relied on reliable firepower for work or protection. Seen in the hands of everyone from Al Capone's armed thugs to Marines and Soldiers during the Second World War, the Thompson became an indispensable friend.

"This gun is fantastic. Great power an accuracy. Aside from the imitation wood parts, it is mostly metal. The AEG magazine is annoying. It makes way too much noise, and is pointless on a spring powered rifle. I got some mid cap magazines instead, and they are way better.

If you are looking for a cheap but effective spring powered rifle, this is one to have. I can easily hit trees that are 150 feet away.

"Just got mine last week and I have to say, this rifle is pretty cool!

Externally it looks exactly like my King Arms Thompson, with compatible magazines and most of the external parts. I bought it for that purpose just in case I accidentally break my stock or something, but I actually find myself messing with it much more than I thought I would. Here in our neighborhood we do spring rifle only games in our private backyard and they are a lot more fun and less serious to use than an AEG. I highly recommend anyone to try an all single shot game, or an all spring powered game.

Great spare parts kit for your King Arms or Tokyo Marui Thompson.
Highly recommended for Thompson owners.
Good build quality, appear that it will last, but we will find out.
Shoots straight and hard, 20 FPS higher than my AEG!
The high-cap makes it the best spring powered Airsoft gun I have ever used.
