WE-Tech Gas Blowback M14 Airsoft Battle Rifle w/ Imitation Wood

"Update from last review. I have put about 500 rounds .28 through this. And I installed the real wood stock what a difference in the feel of the rifle. I bought the 400 FPS one and did a chrono on it was getting on average after 10 shoots through it 346.1 the first was 364.5. After the wood install I can see how the trigger needs to be changed as it did lock after a few fires I ordered the RA-Tech one because I am sure this one is going to go bad on me,
While taking down the rifle to install on the wood stock I saw in that compartment in the stock they put a spring for the mag to make it 30 rd and the flash hider and speed loader.
The flash hider does not fit a real M6 bayonet I had to grind it down to get the bayonet onto the lug then it fit, getting off that orange tip was a pain in the, butt it is very thick around that pin they put in but got it off and installed the iron flash hider.
I can tell you that the mag does not like to be cold at all, you for sure need to warm it up and I get maybe 1.5 nags on a fill
I wish Evike would get these in either the 20 rd or 30 need another mag for this thing I love shooting it.
And Evike RMA still did not get back to me on my RMA request not that I need it now but a response would have been nice.
For those who really love the realism of this weapon I strongly recommend the RA-Tech wood stock it is made beautiful by the way the wood stock that is in what else you may need is not for this rifle it is for the CYMA one. If you do get the wood one, be careful not to lose one that is under the trigger on the faux version, and you have to really push it into the wooden stock

"I just got this a few days ago and absolutely love it. I have read here that the blow back is that of the real one well for sure it is not, it is good but nowhere near the real M14. I bought this one for the realism of the weapon and love it. I ordered the wood furniture for it to give me more of a feel of what I learned to shoot with in boot camp it was the first weapon I ever touched or used.
I fired this about 5 times since getting it only on semi because the real M14 military issue did not have a selector switch and we did not use it on auto fire due to control issues and ammo conservation that was not part of our M14.
The first time I attempted to fire the weapon after loading it all the gas came out on the first trigger pull and it went auto fire on both pulls of the trigger wow I got a lemon I thought. So first thing I did was submit an RMA to Evike just to have it documented then I looked at some YouTube videos and tried again. First thing was I think it was a bit cold for the green gas and the video said to load some green gas then release it manually then fill again release a little then try to fire and that worked fine. I have shot the weapon about 5 times since but only 15 rounds at a time cause my speed loader does not fit the mag so I have to load by hand that that is a pain in the butt.
Now I qas not going to send the rifle back until i attempted to fix this but I have yet to hear back from Evike about the issue and this happened before to me on a scope mount I bought for my Cyma electric M14 the short screws threads would not catch, and I could not use it steady and all I wanted was a new screw but have not gotten a response from ether RMA request I sent in.
I have bought allot of guns from them since my first purchase in August of this year along with accessories had one RMA before these two and got a response with in 3 days on a flash hider I bought for my Cyma M14 that did not fit and they informed me that I bought the wrong one cause I did not read the specs it was for the WE M14 not the Cyma and I kept it cause after I saw the WE M14 I knew I was going to buy it at some point.
Well I strongly recommend this We-Tech M14 GBB it is all it is said to be.
And I also recommend Evike to get all your airsoft from I do like ordering here just these two RMA's I sent did not get a response made me a bit disappointed but not to the point that I would not order more which I intend to in the near future as I see a few more rifles I want.
