GHK G5 Polymer Replacement Stripped Lower Receiver - Black

"Can anyone say "FINALLY"? With the cracking problem of firing without shouldering the G5 this should have been here sooner. Great construction as a Gen 2 (reinforced to reduce chance of cracking). Just needs the Tan version, LET'S GET TO IT EVIKE!!!

"It�s exactly what is advertised it�s a spare lower body for the GHK G5. One thing to note is it doesn�t come with the bolt catch housing labeled part# g5-16-1 so if you order this you�ll either need to remove your old one carefully or order it from over sea�s. This body is a V2 which is supposed to reduce the risk of cracking, however I found that my first body was also a v2 and yet still cracked after 2 games using semi only and having the stock shouldered never folded. After digging a little deeper you will find that the cracking problem in the body isn�t just due to firing on full auto or firing with the stock folded but also has to do with the fact that some of these guns are shipped without a cushioning rubber that goes on the inside of the bolt carrier. When I found this out I searched for a replacement only to find the only 2 websites that carry the spare parts to fix most of the issues that can arise from your G5 are in Taiwan or China. This has me wondering why do most airsoft stores in the us not carry the spare parts necessary to fix the guns ourselves. Rather than sending the whole thing back to them only for them to throw it away and ship you a new one, and that�s only if it�s still under warranty. With that being said I know it sounds like I�m bashing the gun but I still find the gun extremely fun, great recoil, amazing accuracy for CQB fields such as Nashville airsoft or Tac City and a lot of upgradable parts� I just wish and I�m sure the rest of the g5 community does as well that these necessary parts were more readily available in the US.
