State / County / City laws and regulations regarding limited round capacity magazines continue to be implemented and/or changed on an ongoing basis. Because each of these State / County / City capacity laws can be written or interpreted differently, Hexmag has elected to permanently affix the baseplate on all limited capacity magazines. This includes the 10 and 15 round AR15 and 10 round SR25 magazines. The baseplate will be secured to the HexID restricting access to modifications and takedown. If you wish to use a custom color HexID on your limited capacity magazine, please make your color selections upon ordering.

Magazine capacity is regulated by SENTRY's patented True Riser® System inside of a standard size body which is designed to meet strict compliance regulations in specific regions of the United States.

"I own 8 if these mags (4 black, 4 FDE) all I can say is that you can't go wrong with these mags. Have not had any issues, feeds all 10 rounds and locks open on empty. IF you run a PC, chest rig, belt setup for your real guns then these are perfect as they will still fit in pouches and what not as they are in the shell of a full 30rd mag. These are also reasonably priced. Also, if anyone who lives in California knows, we having restrictive and unreasonable gun laws here, including the 10 round limit. However, should you move out to a free state, then you can convert these 10 rounders to the standard 30rds.

Overall, these are great mags mags and I'd recommend them to any AR owner.
