"Put a 2.0 M&P9 5" in it (real steel)
Works as good as my Matrix Glock holster
Near no play with nice positive retention

The front sight on the 5" slightly leaves the tip of holster so it will snag if you pull down on draw (from gun orientation) but IDK what draw you be doing to cause that

If you have an Optic your going to have to cut the holster but nothing would stop you
Heck it might speed up your draw

This holster is designed for standard height irons and isn't modifiable for suppressor height

"Great holster, I have the drop leg platform and it's great. Once adjusted properly there is no wiggle or movement even at a full speed run.

"Big disclaimer: if you think you will use the attachment from another matrix holster you are dead wrong. I assumed that it would fit the paddle from my 1911 holster but it does not. Neither the screw that came with the m&p holster nor the 1911 holster are long enough to attach the two components.

As for the quality of the holster itself, it feels nowhere close to the quality of their other offerings. Not only is the plastic low quality, but the gun rattles in the holster showing that it doesn't even fit the gun it is designed for.

So in summary, do not buy this piece of garbage. I will be looking into a refund immediately.
