"Mags are solid, and I’m sure they feed great and have decent gas efficiency due to the larger gasket seal, however, this does NOT fit the Janus division p80 by 6mm and DE. Gasket is too tall and presses against the nozzle. So the gun will fire two before getting stuck. If anyone has any suggestions on which gasket to possibly replace it with or which mags to replace these with for the p80, I will gladly appreciate it

"Just as the previous review from John W. (John Wick, presumably) noted, these mags have some trouble with seating properly into the magwell. I have an Elite Force Glock 17 Gen.4. I also have a brand new Gen.5 that I purchased alongside the mags.

Because I have used the Gen.4 for longer, it has a modest amount of wear. Due to this, the mags actually feed quite well into the Gen.4, whereas on the Gen.5 they do not lock fully in unless you do give them a firm bump, as John had said.

On the Gen.5, unloading the magazine is terrible because you essentially have to yank it out of the magwell; quite forcefully, too.

On the Gen.4, probably because of the wear, this is less of an issue, as the mag is substantially easier to remove from the magwell.

I will say, notwithstanding the problem, that the mags also feel as if they are breaking-in. I have loaded and unloaded the mags several times in order to try and get this to happen, which has resulted in my Gen.4 being buttery smooth with these mags, along with the Gen.5 being slightly smoother.

Because the gas transfer gasket is less of a concave shape, which John had pointed out, the slide also fails to fully reset to its proper position on an empty-chamber reload. The slide does not fully restore to its normal state, after which you can feel the misalignment between the rubber on the gas lip and receiver as you push the slide into its correct position. Seemingly though, this is much smoother for the Gen.5, as the slide has a much easier time of snapping back in place, as compared to the Gen.4.

Apart from those issues, these mags are pretty nice and are comparable to the original mags’ quality.

I won’t be returning the mags, as I want to see if they will be better over time (as well as seeing if I can replace the gaskets to make it work).

But, as far as airsoft players go, this wouldn’t be the best choice for out of box workability, because these issues are too pervasive.

"I want to love these mags. I’m a big fan of the extended base plate design and think it looks sick in my Umarex Glock 18c. Unfortunately, they don’t feed well due to the gas route seal being the wrong shape/size. Compared to the gas route seal on the original Glock 18c magazines from Umarex – which have a slight concave to the top to have a good, complete seal to the nozzle – these magazines are slightly taller and also flat at the top. This makes it so the magazine doesn’t want to click into the magwell nicely without a firm bump to the bottom. And when it is fully seated into the magwell, the pistol doesn’t cycle cleanly. I think Evike should fix the description saying that this magazine is compatible with my Glock. It’s *almost* compatible, maybe with a different gas route seal design. I have to figure out whether I want to try returning the magazines or buy a different gas route seal.

"Mags do not work OOTB with VFC Gen 4 Glocks. Tried replacing the gas seal to no avail. These have been nothing but problems, double and triple feeding every trigger pull. At this point I'm just going to try and salvage the baseplates and use them on other magazines. Only redeeming quality is the baseplates and construction.

"Not great with VFC Glock 17 Gen 4 without modification. First thing is they do not drop free. The internal slide catch lever comes in contact with the mag and needs to be filed down. Okay, fine. Did that and they drop free now. The real issue is they don't cycle. You'll get 2 or 3 BBs coming out at a time, full auto style. The gas router is flat vs the concave one you'd typically see in Glock mags. I'm going to order some new routers and see if that helps.

The only positive things I can say about these is that they seem to be well constructed and look great. None of the 3 I bought leak.

Probably not ideal for a new airsofter or someone who isn't mechanically inclined and able to fix things.
