"Love this stock. Super easy to replace batteries now on my Krytac PDW mkii

"Best M4 stock Ive seen and used!
Its practical, its comfortable, and its everything I want a Retractable stock to be. I was so used to standard M4 LE Stocks that I didnt know what I was missing out on, but once I used this stock I will never go back to those thin uncomfortable standard stocks. This stock came standard with my Krytac SPR but knowing what I know now, I would purchase this Krytac Stock in a heartbeat even if it didnt come standard and heres why.

Build Quality:
Krytac went ahead of the curve to make their unique Stock as solid as possible. Made of a super robust polymer with a nicely etched Krytac logo on the side, you know this stock isnt a joke. However, like most stocks even on the real steel models, it wobbles. I am yet to see a retractable stock that doesnt wobble out of the box so dont expect this stock to fix this long running quirk.

Comfort:
The cheek rest is wide enough to cater to players who press rest their face up against the stock, but also enough so it isnt cumbersome to players who rather not rest their cheek on it. The wide stock not only provides a firm hold to your rifle, it also greatly increases the amount of battery space inside but Ill get to that in a second. Butt plate is made of a real nice non slip rubber, so for you guys running with thin shirts (or shirtless) on the field, this butt plate wont chafe against your shoulder. The Plate has an ergonomic shape that forms to the curvature of your shoulder, an added plus +

Usage/Practicality:
From QD mounts to 6 position retractable settings, this thing is a solid performer. Everything that you want in a retractable stock ITS HERE. At the top, the stock has a small hole to see which position youre on for those buffer tubes with numbered positions out on the market. The lever unlike most ret. Stocks, doesnt protrude out and is instead flush to the angle of the stock. Removing the stock is also as simple as removing any standard Ret. Stock. Pull the lever out (not press) and slip it right off the buffer tube.

Battery Storage:
To remove the butt plate, simply press in the two tabs on both sides and boom! Lots and lots of battery storage. I am able to fit a Turnigy Nano Tech 11.1 2000mah 3 stick Lipo battery without a problem. I would still have room for an extra small battery, or if I really want to, fit a Mosfet or lipo alarm connected to the battery. It is possible to fit a small brick type battery in the rear where the stock meets the butt plate but I definitely recommend those nunchuck or stick type batteries for this stock. The battery storage is probably one of the best features of this stock, but please make sure not to pinch your battery wires when clipping the butt plate back on.

Pros:
-Solid plastic build quality
-6 position collapsible Stock
-Indicator for numbered buffer tubes
-Exceptional comfort
-Easy removable ergonomic butt plate
-Tons of battery storage (7.4 or 11.1 Turnigy Nano Tech stick type battery recommended)
-2 QD swivel mount on either side
-Rectangular opening to loop strap around stock
-Lever sits flush against stock
-Etched Krytac Logo

Cons:
-Lever has a bit of play to it
-QD mount may wear out soon or under high tension
-And the most common one..wobble. Yes like I said even real steel stocks wobble. Some electrical tape around the buffer tube or the inner lining of the stock will fix this infamous issue.

Verdict
For $45 dollars youre getting what youre paying for. Krytac designed a unique attractive Ret. Stock you wont find on any other AR platform. I 100% recommend this product to anyone looking to upgrade from their standard stock or simply looking for something different. Comfortable, huge battery storage compartment, superb quality, I rate this Stock 5***** stars.

"Excellent stock.
Lots of space for batteries for rear-wired guns.
Quick easy installs, and looks great on the gun.

"Same issue as other players if you run around with the rifle some how the bud stock battery cover falls off then good luck finding it in the woods under deep bush.

"So, great stock. Pretty much end of discussion. It's tight like all of the rest of Krytac's gear. I'm not one to write a crazy review, it's an L shaped piece of plastic that holds your batteries and is comfy in your shoulder, that's about it.

-1 star just because the roll pin that holds the little lever thing for the retraction just up and broke on me while it was sitting in my gear bag one day. Do with that info what you will.

"Everything about this stock is awesome, except for two things. One, the butt plate is really hard to take off, and two, this stock is Mil-Spec. There is nothing wrong with this, but don't buy this if you don't know if your gun has a Mil-Spec buffer tube on it. I have a G&G cm16 Raider-L. This gun comes with a commercial buffer tube on it. Commercial buffer tubes are wider that Mil-Spec buffer tubes, so this stock will not fit (I learned the hard way). Other than that, this stock is great!

"I am not a huge fan of the Krytac rifles but they were definitely paying attention to detail on this stock.

Its SOOOOO easy to get into the rear for rear wired rifles which is exactly why I bought this.

Its almost as comfortable as a Magpul stock too.

"Stock is great with a ton of room for all types of battery set ups. Be aware thought that the cover pops off east when playing. I almost lost it twice the first game I played with it. Seriously considering replacing it for this very reason.

"Absolutely love this stock but REALLY wish they had a way to lock the butt pad on (hence why I'm giving this review).

I'm a hyper aggressive player (not speed softer), and run and gun and a sucker for CQC... While playing with my Krytac, day 1 the butt pad fell off after switching from right to left handed since I do that a ton.

Be sure to tape the butt pad to the stock with electrical tap. They should really consider a way to lock the butt stock pad to the stock itself.

Other than that... Very sturdy, and comfortable, great amount of space for batteries, and amaaaaaazing for cheek welds.

"I don't know if I'm just an idiot, or if the stock just isn't compatible with my gun. I have a G&G CM16 Raider-L and after about half an hour of hammering it into the buffer tube I finally got it to go on, only to find out that it is very stiff and won't retract at all and it's more of a fixed stock now. It's not that I don't know how to put on a stock. It was just extremely stiff and required a lot of force to be put on. I'm more than sure this is all due to my arrogance but I thought I'd voice my complications. The stock itself is really nice and It feels great. The position it's currently in is where I normally have it so not having it retract isn't really that big a deal to me. It's ergonomic and comfortable and it makes my rifle look bad ass. I wouldn't let my issue tamper your decision to buy it, but it's something to keep in mind.
