JG MG36 Reinforced Handguard w/ Bipod For G36 Series Airsoft AEG

"Bought this to fit onto a JG G36C.

Being a JG G36 it fit perfectly with no modifications needed. The surface texture matches quite well although the color is different than my G36, although that is more a fault of the rifle than the handguard as I did acquire the rifle in a used and abused state. (Perhaps think about a cool paint job if this bothers you.)

Being an MG36 handguard there are no rails or even places to put rails, so you're limited to the top rail of the G36 if the variant this guard is being installed on features a top rail.

The Bipod unfolds with a stiff, spring loaded detent and folds by pushing in the small button like levers on the legs, each leg clicking back into position with another detent. The left bipod leg on my particular example although reasonably sturdy is a little warped.

The outer barrel extension fits quite well and tightened down very securely.
The included flashhider does fit very nicely on the outer barrel and is a solid metal piece, although I did not use it and instead used the original plastic '4 Prong' XM8 style flashhider my G36 came with for both aesthetic and practical reasons.

I paired the extended outer barrel with a 509mm inner barrel, which sticks out past the threads of the muzzle just about 11mm, which in my case prevented the included metal flashhider from fitting properly without modification. As such I drilled out my plastic flashhider to accept the extra length of the inner barrel and used the included metal flashhider on an M4 I have that had no flashhider at all.

For reference the inner barrel I chose is the cheap and cheerful G&P 6.05mm OEM Brass Inner Barrel (Length: 509). Item ID : 54795

I would recommend an inner barrel of a length no greater than 490mm for this kit unless you are willing to modify a flashhider to support the extra length properly or add another threaded barrel extension onto the already very long outer barrel.

"Ordered this for a project a buddy and I are doing (we are converting our TM G36Cs into G36Es) and I'm glad i did. Firstly, this hand guard fit my gun with no modification at all, it attaches solidly with the stock hand guard pin. The bipod is super solid as well, and has right to left swivel. It locks affirmatively into place in both the folded and unfolded positions, and it can also be removed entirely. Another thing to note, is that this hand guard is also completely compatible with Classic Army G36s, we tested it on a friend's and it went on no problem. The outer barrel that comes with this hand guard is great, with the bayonet lug being adjustable (it can be rotated for indexing as well as being able to move up and down on the barrel), the flashhider is easy to remove and does not come painted orange. It screws on very well, although there is some flex if you push on the exposed barrel. However, while standing, shooting, running, etc., this is a non-issue.
