"Purchased the WE-TECH replacement M16VN handguard 48881 because it has the heat shields built in. Several weeks ago, I bought the EMG COLT M16A1 20476 rifle, but the hand guards did not have the heat shields in them. I took a chance to see if the WE-TECH would fit the EMG, but they are a 1/4" longer and will NOT fit. The delta ring side will fit but the front triangle end won't. I couldn't even sand down the front because the angle gets wider as you go back toward the receiver. They do look like they will fit the real AR15 rifles. I am planning on getting the WE-TECH M16A1 rifle 37274 when it gets back in stock so I will have a spare set on hand.
