"Well it's a good sight for cosmetic purposes but if you want to use this as an actually Red Dot Sight don't get this. No Instructions No Batteries and they do not even include a Tool for you to mount the Sight. It comes with 2 tools that are way to small for the mounting purpose. Even for $55 its bad. This sight honestly needs to be $20 max its not worth anything over that
"So, I just received my RD Dynamics Red Dot Sight today. I won't beat around the bush -- it's BAD.
I had expected something that'd hold up to sustained fire with the KC-02 GBBR, but I got something that required opening it up and reseating the battery every time I racked the bolt back, let it travel forward, and pulled the trigger -- on an empty chamber of gas! The shaking of the purely mechanical action of bolt racking and dry-firing would knock the battery out of contact. On an AEG, this would be lucky to survive trigger pulling and the motor, and don't even think about running across the field. Bump it into something? Forget about it. It's positively ridiculous.
I'm sending this back to Evike, and I'm probably done with clone red-dots from now on. No point in saving about US$150 on a C-MORE when the thing is entirely unusable in the field and STILL costs US$110. Not to mention, the red dot was, at the lowest brightness level (of 4, by the way, if you count off -- there's not near as many brightness levels as claimed) clearly visible to my boyfriend's little brother from about 100 feet.
It's a liability in any skirmish. Not recommended.
