I don't know about other brands, but I tried this one and it certainly lived up to its hype.

"The REAPS is hyped to be a sensational hop up rubber that will do great things. When installed into my KJW 1911 MEU, I found that it provided an excellent boost to accuracy and the pellet sailed at least an extra twenty feet on a straight trajectory. HOWEVER, the unit tore after about ten shots. Whether or not it's the CO2 or the steel inner barrel I have (or bad installation, but I'm doubtful that it's the installation), the REAPS had a thin rim of rubber torn off, and now the gun shoots quite erratically. I have checked the inner barrel and it is undamaged.

Ultimately, this bucking does do most of the wonders it says it will, but I have had a bad experience with it. The stock rubber does well enough for me and I will be content with what does not break. Buy at your own risk as always.
