*Disclaimer: To reset an Airsoft Grenade, press the button at the end of the grenade all the way down and release it. Disassembling it will void all warranty. (Bearings inside will fall out, you can refer to our videos on how to put them back, it is not hard, and we do sell spare bearing and o-rings for it for you to easily fix it.)

"I bought my first 40mm shells and a grenade launcher just to shoot some silly YouTube videos. Then I got hooked. They are so fun! All my shells are the open BB loading type and are CO2.

I have now taken them to a couple of Airsoft outdoor games. I try to add to the rules that when throwing grenades, and firing grenade shells, you must use Yellow BBs as if they are flash/bang, and green or red BBs are explosive or kill shells.
flash/bang, you must fall to the ground or bend over and hold your head disoriented for a minute, unable to shoot or do anything. After a minute is up, you can stand up and get back into the game. With the "explosive" color BBs, you are considered hit and must go back to respawn.

So far, most of the games and the players have been more than willing to play along. It is much more fun, and after some players are hit with a flash/bang, we all laugh and get a kick out of the players falling to the ground, or bending over and holding their heads. Those who really get into it start moaning loudly!

Regarding the maintenance, there is no way of getting around it. They are maintenance whores. You buy plenty of silicone grease, an o-ring set, and, for CO2, extra valves.
BTW, I have tried many different things in the shells. from coffee beans, M&Ms, Rice, various types of pills, gummy bears, chalk pieces, and even steel BBs..ONLY for indoors at targets or into cardboard boxes with a bunch of toy characters.

Face it. I am an overgrown child!

Pros"
- Incredibly fun!
- Single slot type allows you to try out many different types of materials, but be SAFE about it.
- Plenty of YouTube videos on how to maintain and repair them

Cons:
Watch it, you will get hooked!
-You will inevitably buy more, it quickly adds up $$
- Each shell is one shot in a game, then you will have to head away from the field to tear each down, re-grease them, and sometimes replace an o-ring or a damaged valve.

What would I change?
I don't know, maybe
- A better design so they do not require so much maintenance?

"Hands down the BEST 40mm grenade shell you can get. It can take CO2 and is also very reasonably priced compared to other CO2 shells. Because it can take CO2, it is much more durable than green gas-only shells, and can fire with much more power, due to CO2's higher pressure.

I have no problems using this filled with BBs, firing homemade 'canister' shot of BBs packed with wadding, or shooting foam rockets/balls. Effective range with BBs is about 75-100', and with foam balls I can accurately aim them out to 150', and absolute maximum range with maximum CO2 pressure is at least 200-250'

-- Plus the 'general purpose' design is far superior to the BB shower shells in terms of both power and versatility, in my experience.

Fantastic shell for the price, very durable, and excellent for your team's designated engineer/demolitions guy.
